i hadnt watch evangelion completely but i got the gist of the series and most of the major events.but now after seeing it i can only think one thing, the show is mysoginistic as fuck.every woman around shinji is the worst kind of woman and what makes him so unhappy.and every guy around him its like a shinning light of hope.i am at episode 11 and thats what im thinking right now.

The doubters were being some flame ass dumbfucks tho, and deserve to be called out, especially on a site like Era.The issue isn't really having doubt, its the level of conviction. Anyone with half a brain would see that Etika was struggling to survive and cope with anything.
I may have had some less than charitable feelings about the outcome of Etika's multiple breakdowns in the past but I have to imagine that, in retrospect, I think I just projected to distract from the fact that the facilities just failed to take him at all seriously. It is undeniable that he needed help of some kind, especially after the last time he got arrested, and it's frustrating that he was failed to be given that.Fuck, this is so, so frustrating.

I feel like there is a lot to unpack here: the 24/7 never sleeping streamer culture, the fact that streamers might not be well equipped mentally for fame and that streamers are literally just everyday people with flaws.Edgy 12 years old kids made it their playground.
Oh there were, multiple in fact. People just decided it was cool to make the threads about themselves or joke about how much of a clown etika was/claimed he was boy who cried wolf rather than discussing how serious this was getting. Almost all of the threads got closed by mods for no good reason. Was a real shit show that looks even worse for this site in hindsight. Especially the one mod who joked about the situation.
This as well, mods kept closing the topics about him. It was really problematic and they should be called out to be more transparent and do better with mental health issues in the future.
Every single person who mocked him should receive a permanent ban. That includes the now ex-mod who posted the gif. People have been banned for much, much less.

He was a decent guy that brought a lot of joy to people, then it became obviously clear he had a precipitous breakdown that wasn't indicative of his normal character at all. But instead of folks making an appeal to his needs or interpreting the bad words he used in the context of his breakdown, they woke-warrior'd the fuck out of him. In his suicide note-video, he mentioned having his life ruined. His life wasn't fucking ruined. He didn't hurt anyone - he wasn't a criminal. He didn't go to Rikers. He didn't do anything that bad.
