A women (female) did a deep dive into the accusations against Franken by the conservative lady who did a USO tour with him and later accused him of sexually assaulting her.  The accuser revealed this on her deeply conservative radio show.  Turns out all the women on the accusers detail dispute it and other details are shady.  For instance the accuser "alleged that he wrote a new sketch that involved his character kissing her character, and that he wrote it just to have an excuse to kiss her."

But in the actual sketch they did for the troops that was a line.  She says "Oh Al, you just wrote this sketch as an excuse to kiss me (exacerbated roll eyes)!"  Then I guess actual troops go up and kiss her and the crowd loves it.  Naturally that is hard to explain to the cornpone and liberal cornpone of the world. 

So it is a complete sort of borrowing of the line from the skit that he wrote in which she's supposed to push back and be annoyed. And she is pushing back and being annoyed. So I finally settled on trying to describe it as kind of like he was in a position of having to sort of describe an Escher drawing.

I guess it's #cancel NPR time now since they platforminationed the most anti-#metoo story I've ever heard.
