Let's be honest, killing white people shouldn't be a crime.

Like landlords.

I think I over hyped the review thread, mostly best behaviour in there which is a shame.

Apparently in the woman slammed outside Popeyes thread, the mods actually banned the users who said violence is not an answer to confronting that racist woman . Fascinating

Well, yeah. Remember, they made Nepenthe a mod AFTER advocating for leaving an old woman bloodied on the ground with a concussion for saying the N-word. Their pretense of being anti-violence fell away long ago.

I just want it on the record, I told you mother/father-fuckers this years ago that the BCT were reverse racists.

Ever since GAF.

Just like I told you fatherfuckers that Trump was gonna win and you fuckers said I (and I quote) "have no fucking idea what you're talking about. lol, gtfo."

As soon as a BCT member was made a mod on *autistic screeching*, I knew that forum was going to be shit. FROM THE GET-GO, and most of you stupid fuckers still signed up for that shit and are :pikachu 'ing about how shit the board is (well, most of you have finally woken up to mocking them, but that doesn't excuse signing up for a "clean slate" board that had red flags).

Don't talk to me or my husand's son ever again, you stupid fucks. :kermit

(Ok, but in all seriousness: Why the fuck is "Killing Whitey (babies or otherwise) is A-OKAY!" still a mod on there?)

I remember I made a thread on GAF years ago calling the Pokémon games unambitious and Shocking Alberto and a bunch of Nintenyearolds went crazy.

How the turn tables.

I heard the story that there's a guy at a major publisher who can predict the Metacritic score of games in a +/-2 margin. It's not exactly clear how he does it, he has his finger on the pulse of the Internet, somehow.

Hopefully this amateur can still learn from the pros :

An old racist getting body slammed by someone of the race she's racist against will make her never say the N word again?  :lol

Justifying violence by saying that the victim said the n word is distinguished mentally-challenged fellowed, like "Oh no! The person I already knew was being racist has now confirmed that they're racist! Guess that's good enough justification to kill them!"

Is that the website that fired their review editor when they gave a lowish score to a game that ran a full site advertisement takeover?

Curious.

Something is wrong with America.

Quote
Student protesters were pushing through a back door of the building. Police confronted them and tried, unsuccessfully, to block their entrance. Colin Boyle, a student photographer for The Daily Northwestern, the campus newspaper, captured it all.

After the event, Ying Dai, one of the students, saw a photo of herself on his Twitter feed — sprawled painfully on the floor — and addressed him directly.

“Colin please can we stop this trauma porn,” she wrote on Twitter. “I was on the ground being shoved and pushed hard by the police. You don’t have to intervene but you also didn’t have to put a camera in front of me top down.”

By the end of the night, Mr. Boyle had deleted the picture, and not long after, editors at The Daily Northwestern published a statement apologizing for their journalists having posted photographs of protesters on social media, and for using the school directory to attempt to contact students.

The newspaper’s response set off a national firestorm this week. Prominent professional journalists derided the apology and weighed in to note, often incredulously, that the Northwestern journalists had been doing some of the most basic, standard work that reporters have always done — watching public events, interviewing people and describing what they saw.

Quote
These days, it is not uncommon for college newspaper editors to be confronted by students who are upset at being photographed in a public place without being asked for their permission; who view receiving a text message or phone call from a reporter as an invasion of their privacy; and who expect journalists to help ameliorate their concerns that graphic images in a newspaper could cause trauma to readers.

Good news everyone, it looks like James's legal troubles are over!

Quote
While a New Jersey man who plastered dozens of photos of teenage girls and young women inside his minivan unnerved people who saw the images, nothing about what he did is illegal, authorities said.

A woman posted on Facebook that she saw the creepy images on Nov. 2 when she returned to her car in the parking lot of United Check Cashing on Talmadge Road in Edison. Stefanie LeBron then reported the man to police after taking a photo of the inside of his vehicle and the license plate.

“There were pictures of these young teenage girls all over his dashboard as you see - just like the steering wheel as well as both of his visors basically anywhere there was room to put them up,” LeBron wrote in a public Facebook post that has been shared more than 2,000 times.

LeBron added she has heard from other people who have also seen the van in the Edison area.

Edison police said they checked it out, but said the driver broke no laws.

"Our police department received this report, " Edison police Lt. Robert Dudash said in a statement. “Our detective bureau investigated it, but found no indication of criminal intent or criminal activity.”

Sorry for the care post, but this is actually very scary. The erosion of journalism as a profession is one of the biggest threats to democracy and the left are just as much to blame as the right on this issue.

pokemon is literally an allegory for slavery and for the plight of all POC all over the world. you play as a racist who's gotta CATCH THEM ALL (ie turn them over to the police, KKK or ICE) who won't be satisfied until he has exploited his slaves to achieve victory. the game is loved by fascists the world over and white supremacists of all ethnicities.  :brain

I find it kind of funny because it upsets the fanboys so much lol

Yeah, I mean I feel that there are real questions that aren't answered when it comes to things like user freedom, modding, contingency plans etc. And I am a pessimist so I feel it will take off and the answers won't be to my preference, which will be met with "well youre a niche audience, sucks to be you i guess".

But I dont really understand why they hate if they primarily console game. I mean I just turned on my ps4 and im met with a 20 gig rdr2 download, a 18 gig days gone download, a system update,  and my damn ps4 won't sync yet again to the damn DS so I have to pull the power cable to fix it. Long gone are the console days I grew up on when it was stick in the game and go, and later stick in the game and wait for the 1 minute loading screen. If I could just turn my tv on click my nintendo app and stream mario, or the ps app and PAIN 2 id take it!

I mean I get that I deal with worse fucking around on a pc (hello spending more time installing bethesda mods than playing the actual game) but you also get more for your toils ( aforementioned mods, the indiest of the damn indie games, source ports, free ware.exe on some dudes site etc). Sign me up for major console makers streaming platforms,  instead of their closed boxes that require net connections now anyways.

I'm glad we can now all agree that violence by men against women is acceptable if the woman says something that upsets you.

Interesting to see so many talk like acts of extreme violence against women by men can be justified as long as he was sufficiently verbally provoked.

There's never a valid excuse for any man to do that to any woman.

Wow, just wow!

This is explicit support for violence against women and active silencing of those who would call it out. Great forum you got there Cereal.

Well there are still a lot of console gamers buying physical games;  latest statements suggest we've finally reached 50/50 physical/digital for retail games.   Those people are already going to consider an all-digital system a change, let alone a streaming one.

But yeah, it's definitely the killer feature for me (not having to install/update/manage.)   But I don't know that it's enough for me to "get over" the streaming basis of it.  That's even w/ excellent internet / low pings to google/ms/everyone.   Even if it played perfectly, and you theoretically could trick me into not knowing.. the fact is, I do know, and it nags at me.  lol   But maybe with enough time my brain will stop second guessing wondering if the server got my inputs correctly.

I'm probably buying a buddy pass (assuming the guy doesn't back out) because I want to check the tech out, but RDR2 having troubles on PC is what pushed me over the edge to actually seek one out.  As long as Destiny 2 doesn't play like absolute crap for me I'm gonna check RDR2 out on Stadia and see how it feels.

Yeah that RDR2 pc launch was kinda yikes. I currently have an i52500k and a 970, so I'm not even considering RDR2 yet. Had I had a top of the line rig I'd would've been pissed tho. The stability issues alone sound headache inducing. However RDR2 will be a prime example how in 4 years the local version will have all sorts of mods that rockstar would never approve, let alone encourage on a streaming platform. I still don't know how streaming exclusive games will ever get a "mod scene" unless you pay extra for some admin access to create stuff, and promise not to try breaking the sandbox open? Or everything will be like snap map.... Oh god everything is going to be like snap map isnt it!?  :'(

I hope every dev who invests resources into stadia gets burned, just like how everyone is crawling back to Steam from EGS.

Did Slayven even finish grade school? There's no way someone can continually make such basic grammar errors.

Those were spelling and punctuation errors, not grammatical errors. :ufup

8bn, shosta, pogi and Dennis aren't "most people", not even on the bore
There was also Cindi, bork, demi, stro, 21337, Exodust, moblin... a lot of the normal people here signed up. At least half of the regulars. Even benji has an alt there.

Even then, let’s not try to act like there’s a huge difference between posting in this thread and posting on RE itself. Both are equally insane.
