"Non-binary trans" is a new one on me. Like I get being transgender and that's cool. I understand that some people identify as non-binary. Non-binary trans, though? What are you transitioning to? Are you transitioning from a gender you don't identify with to another that you don't identify with? Are they trying to decouple the concept of actually transitioning somewhere from the state of being trans?
When you go from feeling like a fee-male to feeling like a male, you've transitioned. Non-binary doesn't necessarily mean you're agender, which is not identifying as having a gender, it can mean you identify as both genders.

To quote from the non-binary thread: https://www.resetera.com/threads/non-binary-ot-01101110-01101111-01101110.119742/
Quote
What is meant by non-binary?
Put simply, non-binary people don't fit into the binary choice of “Male or Female”. A non-binary person could be someone who has never identified enough with the default gender descriptions to fit in neatly to either category, it could be someone who feels as if they flit between the two, or it could even be a person who simply denies the idea that gender can be so easily and neatly separated into two categories.

For many people, their gender identity is never in question and acceptance of the binary gender norm is not even a consideration, for non-binary folk this specific gender norm isn't accurate.

This is no fad!
Non-binary peoples have existed forever. This isn't some fad or craze dreamt up to make ourselves feel special. As above, this is simply language catching up with the notion that people exist whose traits and personalities cannot be so neatly categorized.

There is no confusion, specificity is the opposite!
To reiterate: the point is we're using the term to update language to describe those of us who exist on the scale and not at either end. It's the precise opposite of confusion, it's a call for acknowledgment and acceptance of actual people who really do exist.

spoiler (click to show/hide)
It's fucking stupid gibberish. And is almost always totally privileged people making a mockery of people who actually do struggle with this kind of thing in order to climb the progressive stack on the internet.

Little known fact, that's actually what John Wilkes Booth yelled out when assassinating Abraham Lincoln.

Big conservative money has tried to keep it covered up.

Why should we care? I don't care about his investments when he has enough wealth that his family doesn't have to work for 100 generations (conservative estimate) while there are 500,000 homeless people in this country.

I watched this Netflix documentary. He seems to be doing some great stuff with the foundation. Or is that all a lie?
Genuine question.

Was it in the fiction or non fiction section of the netflix library!?!

Quote
Since there are so many posts talking about how he "earned" his billions and "deserves" such wealth, let me pose a question:

If him having wealth is a matter of him deserving it because he "earned" it, do homeless people also deserve to be homeless for not "earning" enough?

Because if you're going to argue he's a self-made man and he only has this fortune because of his own merits, than it follows that people with less only have less because of a lack of merits.

They seem to be under the impression that Gates just has a big ol fat bank account with a billion dollars sitting in it instead of just having a bunch of assets. Liquidating it all immediately just to get rid of it would do no one any good.

Is what I'm questioning here basically the root of the "truscum" schism? I don't know because every time I Google these stupid terms the definition contains more of them.

And are they really going to start pretending that Era isn't a progressive forum and that its moderators aren't on their side? Or are people there too accepting so they need to up the difficulty?

To some degree I feel like it's a situation where relatively privileged people say "Man, being trans used to make me feel special, but now everyone's trans, so I gotta figure out a way to feel special compared to all those other trans people." I always have a good laugh about ending hunger/homelessness mainly because sure you can feed and house people, but if someone is a drug/alcohol addict, they're still going to be the same thing.

But sure just give them a free house they can make a drug/alcohol den, fuck it whilst you're at it why not just continually supply them with drugs.

I think there's an element of that.

I also think there's an element of "I'm a MAN but I don't adhere 100% to my preconception of what A MAN is because I like to suck dick and wear lacy underwear, but instead of reevaluating my own preconceptions I am going to demand that the rest of the fucking world - including the language they use - changes their definitions to suit ME"

Also - especially on era - I'm pretty fucking sure there's an unhealthy dose of "yeah, its because these squares CAN'T HANDLE my super futuristic identity classification thats definitely not made up!" and not "Wow, I wonder if there is a reason why so many people actively fucking hate me so soon after talking to me and if I could do anything about that"

I view era transgender folx as those that look in the mirror and say "Would you fuck me? I would fuck me."

The main difference between the Ree trans and Buffalo Bill is they're the only ones trapped in their basements.

Are you seriously saying that their lifestyle is a choice?  :banplz

If you sick, STAY HOME! I barely got any leave time left and I don't wanna catch whatever it is you have. I'm working with a co-worker who I KNOW have plenty of leave time left since she never takes time off. She's here hacking and coughing, plus she clearly has a sore throat since I can't tell if it's her talking or the demon from The Exorcist.

Why do people do this??? Stay home, no one is gonna wish you were here if you're sick.

>People who can call out work but still go to work sick are selfish
>I barely got any leave time left and I don't wanna catch whatever it is you have.

By the way. King Bernie needs to get in on this action

Petróleos Mexicanos, which translates to Mexican Petroleum, but is trademarked and better known as Pemex (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈpemeks]), is the Mexican state-owned petroleum company, created in 1938 by nationalization or expropriation of all private, foreign, and domestic oil companies at that time. Pemex had total assets worth $415.75 billion, and was the world's second-largest non-publicly listed company by total market value (in December 2005),[2] and Latin America's second-largest enterprise by annual revenue as of 2009, surpassed only by Petrobras (the Brazilian National Oil Company).[3] The majority of its shares are not listed publicly and are under control of the Mexican government, with the value of its publicly listed shares totaling $202 billion in 2010, representing approximately one quarter of the company's total net worth.
