New infections within households right after schools open up, median age for infections dropped by 25-30 years
Can't explain it
Yeah it seems so obvious it's the schools. And honestly parents are doing a terrible job explaining this to their kids.
Whenever I go to a supermarket they're still running all over the place even though the government insists parents shouldn't take their kids shopping.
I haven't seen any kids with masks either.
Air filters would be a great help indoors, especially in poorly ventilated areas.
We know how this thing spreads (aerosols) so we should take measures accordingly.
Having a lockdown with schools open like France and Germany are doing seems completely useless as is locking people indoors without telling them to either properly ventilate or get an air filter.
It doesn't work here either, our government is now cooking the books with 'computer glitches' so the daily tallies are incomplete.
Our top expert had to admit our health minister was lying when he said our reproduction rate had dropped to 0.88 .
It must be a cultural thing but as soon as autumn/winter hits the people that are 50+ stop opening windows. Landlords usually start sending notices around that old people must open their windows to prevent mold.
In the elderly homes they're now opening the windows in the morning but before the first residents get up for breakfast they close them again because otherwise they will complain about the cold.
