Ok so I boot the game for the first time, create character, go through the stupid tutorial and the boring intros that is more about talking to monsters than crafting.
Then it comes to the last part, where you plug the crates to stop the water - seriously that was abysmal, it was pure luck that I found about first person view to aim at the holes but even then the box wouldn't be at the correct spot most of the time.
So up to that point I'm thinking if this a famous and popular broken game or am I doing something wrong...
Anyway I finally manage to plug the holes, ship is about to go down, NPC tells me "it was nice knowing you"
Then nothing, just a black screen...
I just wait there for several seconds.
The the first achievement unlocks, "shipwreck survivor"
Finally!!
Well no...
We are back in title screen and it asks me to start new game.

I swear if I had paid for this I'd be asking for a refund now. I'm not going through that again...
So fucking pissed. Anyone else had an experience like this in this particular game?
Is the item placing so broken, cause really that's the biggest reason I don't wanna go back and start over again.

The opening 10 minutes of the game is spent teaching you how to pick up and place objects. It's literally press square to pick up object, press x to place in the spot with big yellow highlights.
