What MS is doing equates to attempting a hostile takeover of the games market at large. They are essentially attempting to buy up as much creative stock as they can using funds generated from entirely separate businesses/markets in order to control a large enough segment of the market to be considered a controlling interest on the part of that market’s customers. Just because the actual individual purchases themselves aren’t hostile takeovers doesn’t change the the corporate takeover aspect of the purchases as a whole or the intent behind those purchases
