I don't think it's entirely unreasonable to say that a 16-year-old should not do jail time or have a criminal record over saying something shitty, even if it's racially motivated. The consequences he faces should be social and societal, not criminal.

Also note that this is a knife that will almost definitely cut both ways.....if the offender were a minority making a disparaging remark about another race/religion, should they be arrested as well? If you don't trust the legal system to fairly apply the law to oppressed groups, then can you expect them to apply this law fairly?

It's kinda comfy watching someone play your favorite game.  Sit back with a lemonade or a nice spritz (if you're feeling feisty) and some snackies.     But I'm a weird one -- I've always liked watching friends play games.

It's fun to see different strategies you may not have thought of when you watch a streamer play a game you're pretty familiar with. I'm definitely more a fan of non-TAS speedruns, or streams that show you super obscure games (i.e. RetroPals) than just regular streaming. If a streamer is really bad at a game, I don't have much patience though.

There are instances where a company being a major player in certain combinations of markets is contrary to the national interest. I wouldn't want Raytheon buying CNN or Fox News or the New York Times. Amazon is also a major defense contractor. This deal is not in the national interest. I think it's pretty clear how dangerous this kind of stuff can be.

I don't like defense contractors being in a position to directly produce propaganda, whether that's film, video games, or news. Amazon has a $600m CIA contract and made a TV show about a CIA agent. I don't like that kind of thing, and I think it's not acceptable.
