Xenoblade 2 is the best game in the series. So yes, absolutely.

Designs might be worse, but the main party in XC2 is actually much better than XC1's, way better character development and chemistry between the characters. XC1's main characters are dull in comparison, imo.

Vilains are a lot better aswell and have much more depth to them than XC1's.

And to be honest, there are a lot of really good character designs in the game, haters just love to post the same 3-4 designs to shit on the game, and most of them are blades that aren't even part of the main story and that you might never actually see in the game. Or the same couple awkward scenes (like the blushy crushy thing posted above, that is optional aswell.)

It's always the same optional things that get posted to shit on the game, ALWAYS. As if the whole game was just those few optional scenes and optional blade designs, lmfao. This game has like 200+ hours of content, it's not a couple awkward scenes and questionable designs that's gonna stop me from absolutely loving the shit out of it.

Don't let the character designs stop you. Xenoblade 2 uses the same formula as Xenoblade 1, but does pretty much everything better, imo.

Better gameplay, better level design, better cutscenes, better music, better sidequests, (that one's not hard, I love XC1 but its sidequests are probably some of the worst sidequests i've ever experienced in any jrpgs, ever.), better character development, etc.

Torna is also the GOAT of jrpg expansions.

We all saw what happened when Lore relaxed the rules. If Ree did the same it’d be Nazi central within 2 hours. What Ree needs to do is get rid of demented freaks like Mannigan. Put up a clear set of guidelines with no grey areas. That way mods wouldn’t be able to exploit them with histories of histories. Mods should be voted in by the Rees and removed after 9 months. Limit the report function to 1 per month. Make users reporting histories public. Ban Twitter threads. Ban that try hard mong with the Labrador avatar

My impression is that they think if they get relaxed the forum will be labeled alt right, regardless of being true or not, by some of the most obnoxious and loud users. While we suspect there is a lot of trolls, many RE users seem to be genuine nutcases that think they are changing the world by creating narratives in a niche gaming forum (Neoxon hilarious attempt to cancel Scott The Wuz for example), so there is probably fear that some asshole will start to shit talk them at twitter and actually affect them IRL.

Just remember how clueless and incompetent  they were when the KitKat drama happened.
