I'm a huge Nintendo fanboy but their attitude towards this issue is despicable.
When you silence in a situation like these, you are conniving with it.

They have a long history of racism and non inclusiveness in their games. Things like this are acceptable. Their audience hand waives everything they do they think Nintendo is the only company that "cares" while the other 2 are "evil" and in the end Nintendo look like complicit racist clowns.

I've re-iterated my point multiple times; that the idea that they just "don't care" doesn't seem fair when there's multiple examples of prominent Nintendo employees(including the current president of NOA) talking about it, and signal boosting it and that the idea that it's because they don't have black people in positions of leadership because NOA is one of the few examples that do(or have in the past).

That doesn't make it okay for them to settle where they are, and not strive to do more. It doesn't justify them staying silent, nor dispel any disappointment in relation to that fact.

I was in Seattle yesterday and the protest was so peaceful I was seriously considering putting a podcast on to spice shit up, and they still tear gassed an entire city block. And this morning, I already seeing people in the city arguing about whether or not someone tossed an empty water bottle at the cops like that was the issue yesterday.
