I find you guys are doing a huge oversimplification of a collection of regional problems, xenophobic discrimination and political opportunism that are older than all of us with “lol immigrants” and “fuck religion”.

too currpost for this thread but I feel like a lot of it does have to do with the specific mix of elements in europe
why don't teachers get beheaded for the glory of allah in the united states? why aren't random ladies in churches getting their throats slit?
you could say it's because they don't have the proximity to muslim nations and therefore don't have as much opportunistic immigration
but then you think, what is the US's equivalent of this kind of immigration? mexicans, right? mostly catholic
and you don't see them raiding US mosques
you could also argue teachers don't get beheaded in the US because any potential beheaders know the shift in public opinion would be swift and terrible
is the constant borderline on anti muslim sentiment in the US a bad thing, or an effective deterrent to these kinds of terrorist acts?
