There are only three posters I remember from my brief daliance with OldGAF back in the day and none were for particularly good reasons.

Those deals threads gave me life. I used to jump on the deals, buy as many copies as I could and then go and sell them to CEX. The propaganda and questionable research papers from back when big tobacco was sued really did a number on people's ability to think critically to this day. Nicotine isn't particularly dangerous, cigarette smoke isn't actually radioactive (because we're not doing nuclear weapons tests near tobacco farms anymore), the only actually dangerous component is the smoke itself, often due to additives like glycol and impurities. Smoking weed is basically just as unhealthy as smoking tobacco, so if you want to ban one, you have to ban the other. And also BBQ.

Another day, another fantasy  -

So, it's Friday afternoon and I had just gotten back into my house after going for a run. I'm sitting on my couch for a moment when I see lights start to shine on the wall to the right of the television. I thought it was just the reflection from a car driving by, which happens often, but I turn my head to the right and I see a cop just walking around my front yard.

I stand up, planning to go outside and ask him what he's doing in my yard but when I turn around, there is a second cop with his face up against the side door window, shining a flashlight into my house. This obviously scared the absolute shit out of me. I'm just standing there in my boxers, as I was about to jump into the shower, as a cop is staring at me through my side door window and shining a flashlight at me.

At this point, I am legitimately worried. Why would two cops be visiting me and looking into my house? Did something happen to a family member? I put my hand up with one finger in a "one sec" motion so I can go put on some damn pants.

I go outside to confront the cops and they explain that a neighbor called for a "wellness check" because my lawn hasn't been mowed in a few weeks. That was it. That was literally the reason.

That all seems plausible, but of course Ree can't contain their bullshit -

I'm sure some will ask, "Do you know who it was?" Based on who I've seen and interacted with in the area, I have strong reason to believe that it is a specific person who has caused issues in the neighborhood previously. This person put a giant "Trump 2020" banner on the front of their home the day after Biden won the election, which is still there today. It goes with the confederate flag they have on one of their pickup trucks, which is adorned with a giant blue line flag in the back window. Their Wi-Fi network also shows up as "#savethechildren#impeachbiden."

they are incredibly tight with the police. I've seen cops stop by that house in a friendly fashion multiple times.
