Sorry if I don't want to applaud a self congratulatory action, for which she will receive not only publicity but also tax rebates, regardless if it is a positive one. Rich people doing "charity" is never just charity. If it was we wouldn't be hearing about it. So forgive me if I'm not impressed.
Not saying the scholarships will not benefit people, and that looking back and realizing you could have done better is not a good thing. Both of those things are good. But again, it's never just charity.
So…never try to do better or acknowledge past mistakes and just stick to what works for you? Got it.
And did they seriously think the creator of Friends wasn’t going to get publicity for this? Friends is STILL fucking popular despite long, long since being over.
