Was never into JonTron but from what I understand, he provides a pretty good argument that cancel culture doesn't exist.
Remember kids, cancel culture doesn't actually exist because people will forget what you did.
Agree with the other poster...not sure if cancel culture actually exists.
Yes, let's decide if this thing exists or not by only using examples of popular celebrities who were "cancelled" by an obscure video game forum. Not say any of the hundreds of normal people whose lives were torn apart and ruined by media promoted feeding frenzies. Let's talk about a popular YouTuber (who again, a small video game forum "cancelled") instead of say Sue Schafer, Gary Garrels, Justine Sacco, Alexandra Duncan or Emma Sarley. It's not hard to find these names. You'll probably remember a few of the incidents themselves if you look them up no matter what side you took in the heat of the moment.
Another thing we can do? Point to all the many articles discussing how "cancel culture" is actually a good thing, Zach Beauchamp wrote a hilarious one for Vox for example. I guarantee that we can find posts of this type on ResetERA.com itself.
There's something very amusing about the need for some of these people to spend ages claiming that things other people are criticizing doesn't even exist in the first place.
