So three members of the staff are just totally okay with labeling a girl they've never met as a "slut" for going on dates and to bars?

that was my take away

 :confused

It's clear he was being creepy by continuing to be invested in some person he went on a couple of dates on years ago, and he is obviously more jealous of her going out with other guys versus being concerned about COIVD spreading.  But I saw no shaming.  Whatever mod gave this out is way more guilty of this "offensive" behavior.

Won't like the post cause I don't know if it's true but apparently the suspect made a lot of "anti-white" posts on social media.
This turned out to be true, but more interesting to me is whether or not they'll be using this type of ban going forward. Threads are constantly flooded with unverified information. Kinda the nature of a forum like this.

in this case it seems like it's mostly because the poster went out of their way to be careful and label it unverified like a cautious internet user should

if he just straight up posted "lot of anti-white comments the guy made :( this will set us back years" he wouldn't have gotten in trouble

Starting on page 25 and all the way to the last page of the Rittenhouse thread, people keep posting about bringing the gun "across state lines." Others are trying to gently, apologetically correct them, "well, I guess it seems like the reports are indicating that didn't happen", but good luck.

Quote
That motherfucker took a gun and went across state line to shoot "looters" and then did.
Quote
Yeah but driving across state line with an illegal firearm to shoot up a civil rights protest probably should be illegal.
Quote
How come he wasn't guilty of bringing his gun across state borders?
Quote
The sticking point for crossing state lines is that he was claiming he was protecting his community; but he lived in a whole other state.
Quote
I would have assumed the federal stuff would have been him not being the owner of the gun and bringing it across state lines, but I'm severely under-educated on the state/federal laws around guns.

Nobody is willing to point out that it is near where he lives, his dad lives there, his friends live there, his job is there, and therefore he would have "crossed state lines" anyway if there was no protest.

Meanwhile they ban people for alluding to Rosenbaum's crimes. And yes, those crimes were not allowed in the trial. But they are relevant to the discussion about the trial. In particular, they are relevant to the idea that the trial was biased. If the defense was allowed to use it, it would have taken 4 minutes, not 4 days, to reach a not guilty verdict.

They should probably look up the timeline somewhere before posting so emphatically. He drove the two miles to go across state lines (something which is not illegal) and then drove further to Kenosha (also not illegal) the night before, stayed over night, acquired the gun (legally) while entirely in Wisconsin, and then went to the riots the next night.

Just for the record, I don't think he should have done it. But I have no idea why they're so desperate to twist this into a whole bunch of illegal acts when it was all legal. And the part that was disputed we literally just had a trial to determine.

Not targeting you or anything, but I was always taught to de-escalate things. I might have reacted like the motorcyclist too but I know I’m in the wrong if I chased her if I know was able to get a license plate and just call hit and run and then go to a hospital.

But if cops really told him to tail her that cop is really stupid. That’s their job. If I heard that from them I would just say I’m unable to drive and call an ambulance and let the the cops do their job. Yes it sucks I almost died and cops might not find her but at least I didn’t die.
Quote
Rational thinking went out the window for him long before he got hit. Rational people don’t think it’s cool to ride around with guns. But America wheehoooooo.
Quote
Yeah, because that happens.

As a victim of a hit and run, I damn near chased down the dude to beat his ass (he was on foot) instead of calling the cops. The only reason why I didn't was because some kids came out of one of the other cars hit and immediately took my attention away. Had I not seen kids, I would've chased down the dude to beat his ass.

A multi-ton weapon came flying at you; no one is going to think like that.

And again, following someone to accurately direct the police to them is not out of the ordinary. Witnesses to hit and runs do this shit all the damn time.

Chappelle vowed to be hitting pause on jokes about the LGBTQ+ community until he and the LGBTQ+ community could both be laughing together again. "I'm telling you: It's done. I'm done talking about it," he concluded.

But on Monday night, Chappelle laughed as he acknowledged his promise to stop with that kind of material, but with the new caveat that he'd only do so if the set was being recorded, earlier pointing out that everyone in the 20,000-person arena had their cellphones locked away in Yondr pouches.

After the screening of his heartwarming documentary, it took Chappelle only a few seconds to launch headfirst into his recent troubles. “Week four of being cancelled, it’s crazy,” he began, launching into a tale about how he had to take out an order of protection against a racist neighbor who had turned up at his house a few months ago.

He described that his wife had gifted him a pearl-handled .22 caliber pistol, joking that the last thing someone would say to him before he had to use the weapon would be “f----t.” And if Chappelle did end up going to jail for murder, to escape the roughness of prison he said he would simply claim to identify as a woman.

Chappelle continued with his bit, explaining that after getting the order of protection against his neighbor, he offered to pay for his rehab or therapy, because clearly the man was not mentally well.

He said the payment would have to be kept a secret, otherwise other people with no health insurance would come knocking on his door looking for medical help, adding that trans people would be among those asking him to pay for their surgeries.

Chappelle went on to boast that he's glad he wasn't technically cancelled, saying he was lucky that he had been surrounded by a circle of friends, later bringing out comedian Jon Stewart, as well as musicians Fat Joe, Busta Rhymes, and Rakim.

He also made a series of pronoun jokes. When introducing the musician H.E.R., he quipped, "It's a pronoun you don't hear much!" Later on when riffing with Stewart, Chappelle mentioned that he'd form a transgender tribute band named "They."

Stewart, who had just professed Chappelle's graciousness and blasted people who wanted to make money off conflict, seemed to shrug the jokes off, adding “Can’t stop, won’t stop,” toward Chappelle’s line of jokes.

Already should have been, he defended Chappelle all the way back in October:
Jon Stewart is coming out in defense of longtime pal Dave Chappelle after he was accused of making transphobic remarks in his new Netflix comedy special, “The Closer.”

Stewart, 58, told TMZ Thursday that Chappelle, 48, is “one of my favorite people on the planet” and that his intentions are “never hurtful.”

...

Speaking with TMZ, he described Chappelle as “warm,” “wise” and “decent.”

“Look, if this spurs a conversation where people get more on the same page in terms of understanding, that’d be great, but I know his intention is never hurtful — like, he’s just not that kind of person,” Stewart said.

“And if it is [hurtful], it’s certainly unintentional … He’s really a good man.”

Less than a month ago, on his new show, Jon Stewart basically argued that Democrats shouldn't run away from the socialist label anymore:

I know, I know, it's "centrist" to be for socialism. The proper center-left view is the immediate abolition of capitalism and colonialism which instantly ushers in the global stateless utopia.

Oh fuck off with that shit. From the very start my position was that it sounds like he escalated the situation. People are defending this guy based on a very biased article missing tons of information which we may never know given that we only have him and his witness (friend?) for the full story.

Are people advocating following someone home after an altercation? That is some white fucking privilege right there. People seem to be implying he had a right to defend himself based on the initial incident. That's fucking insane in my mind. You guys sound blood thirsty to me. The gun situation in the US is fucked and this thread is prime example. Neither of them should have had access to guns.

Personally, as a minority, this article and situation send off all kinds of alarm bells.

Also, whoever said she as a white woman, she has a hispanic last name and looks hispanic.

Oh no doubt. Level 0 access from boot to a company owned by Tencent. No dodgy CCP connections there. I'll be honest on a forum that's filled with gaming enthusiasts I'm surprised you're the only one to mention it and even more surprised how little acknowledgement it received
They really don't like criticism of the CCP associated conglomerate Tencent over there.

Holy fuck, also thread is gonna be locked forever since reporting takes a lifetime to do.

The whole story basically

Today Ree's incels progressives are going after a rape victim who was manipulated by the police and prosecution into wrongly identifying her attacker -

Quote
This is disgusting. I hope he sues the shit out of the author

Quote
Guilty of being black. Fuck that person.

Quote
Everybody involved in this farce needs to face some harsh consequences. Sebold included

Quote
the author should be ashamed of herself and face some sort of consequences.

Quote
her racism inflicted more needless trauma in turn.

The usual defence force arrive to downplay/justify their behaviour -

Quote
I don’t think anyone is really blaming her,

Quote
She identified an innocent man on the street randomly as her attacker months later. Then later failed to identify the same man in a line up because another man looked the same as him. Then later identified him in court as her attacker.

Then back to blaming the rape victim -

Quote
Wait so the man that raped her, and then the two Black men in the line up looked EXACTLY the same to her? 3 people looked identical in her mind? Uh huh.

Quote
She said this about a completely innocent man on her own. There was no prosecutor giving her instructions at that time. Once she was told she picked the wrong man, she claimed it was because they looked nearly identical.

Quote
Sue the shit out of her.

Quote
No, this is on her.

Quote
I think she picked a innocent black man off the streets and destroyed his life.

Trauma is not an excuse.

Quote
I hope she is also able to look within and deal with the biases she has that have lead to this misidentification.

Quote
Trauma doesn't concoct memories or compel a victim to wield the power of the state to destroy a random person on the street.

These are the feminist allies of Ree.

Kind of difficult to felt bad for her given that she became a successful author while the other dude went to jail for years.

The fact that it took a Hollywood producer concerned about legal liabilities to get called out is, well...

I admit I'm overly fascinated by amateur internet legal claims. Like what's even the theory behind the idea that the guy could sue her for this and not the state? Especially considering the police and the prosecutor effectively lied to her.

Your right. It is difficult to feel bad for a rape victim who's trust was manipulated by the authorities.

Just, all of it. Miserable shitpile of awful people.

I feel for their relatives that will be listening to long-winded rants every time certain pieces of popular media are mentioned this Christmas. Then the awkward conversations in the kitchen about 'well, you know what your cousin is like, just ignore them'.

there was a thread last week discussing Mel Gibson's newest project, sadly some users were happy to defend him because "He's a good director." I was sickened reading that shit.

Sickened that Gibson is a good director

This entire thread is funny as fuck though. All the usual wankers getting themselves wound up over Richard Hammond making jokes

So three members of the staff are just totally okay with labeling a girl they've never met as a "slut" for going on dates and to bars?

C'mon now.

I think its pretty clear that this femoral artery exposing whore must be a dirty, dirty, filthy, dirty slut.
