Game Informer still exists? What is it, a charity case? I can't imagine anyone willingly buying gaming magazines today unless it's like a patreon type of thing for collectors.
Gamestop has their yearly membership where you can sign up for something like $20 a year, and you get 10% discounts off all used games along with a free subscription to Game Informer. I kinda got guilted into it a few months back, the young lady behind the counter who has worked there for years held a Dread Collector's Edition for me till I got out of work, and I believe workers get a bit of commission when they sell those memberships.
In the UK, mags still seem somewhat relevant (and of course you have Japan and Famitsuu which still gets pushed out every week). The magazine section of Barnes and Noble are filled with Edge, Retro Gamer, the UK PS and Xbox specific mags.
