Screw the people that shit on F3 'cause it's not a fancy exclusive that uses all of their favorite system's SPEs or massive storage capacity.  It looks way better than R2: More Full of Bland.

I don't think it looks good (I think Resistance 2 looks bad too), but it is certainly looking a lot better than the screenshots I would call ugly pre-release.

:piss screens of messy 360 version in previews :piss2

Has anyone made to the Gold Ribbon Grocers out west of Megaton near the Jury Street Metro Station?  The whole place is one big Rube Goldberg machine.  Pretty cool stuff.  Now if I could only reset it. :/

I found Bethesda studios!!!  But before I could get in, I fell through some geometry while in a fight with raiders...couldn't get out of it, couldn't kill the raiders because they couldn't find me because I was stuck in the geometry, and I couldn't warp out because the raiders were on alert.   very ironic moment in the game.

I found Bethesda a while ago, I think there was a bobble head there.

And super mutants (regular, brute, master...whatever) are so easy to fight.  Robots and animals/incests are tough.

Megaton was worth saving.  When I finally got to Tenpenny Tower (like, right now), I just became more glad that I saved Megaton.  I actually want to go on a killing rampage and wipe out those assholes.  This one chick was ready to bang me until I said I liked ghouls.

Rivet City sells a mini-nuke launcher.

I mainly use a combat shotgun and hunting rifle.  I have about 3000 ammo for my chinese assault rifle, but I never use it.  I also carry a .44 scoped magnum that I nevre use, a 10mm SMG I never use, a laser pistol I kill bugs with, and my power fist.  I have a missile launcher that I should probably break out, but I'm not well trained in heavy weapons.

Beating the game left it feeling kinda empty. I don't feel any incentive to do anything anymore other than for achievements. I actually haven't touched the northern half of the map yet at all so I haven't met any deathclaws or anything. And what's up with the fuck awful loot? There's way too little customization going on, everything's the same so there's really no reward in doing stuff. I actually really liked the game though, it's just that some of these things were done better in Oblivion. A proper expansion pack could do wonders to this game.

Edit: and what kind of weapons can you make? So far the only schematics I've run into has been the Nuke-It, cap mine and the railgun.

I've only played Dead Space a teensy bit, but I think either way you win.  They're two very different games.  I'm a manic person, so in my old age, survival horror and the associated atmosphere puts me through the roof, so I'm a Fallout boy.

For infinite experience in Fallout 3, you need to be at least level 8 and have the Sandman Perk. Sandman requires that you have at least a 60 rating in sneak. It allows you to silently kill people in their sleep with an added EXP bonus everytime. So apparently, kids, or at least some kids, can’t be killed in the game. A good spot for this glitch is in a town in the South called, Andale. There are two kids, one in each of the two main houses that you can use this trick on. All you have to do, is use the wait function until it is about 1 AM. When everyone is asleep, sneak into a house, crouch, and use the Murder skill that comes with the Sandman Perk. USE ON THE CHILDREN ONLY. They won’t die, but you will still get the experience for killing them, allowing you to do the trick as much as you want. Best of all, using this murder trick has no effect on your Karma.

Mysterious stranger is the best perk.  Nothing like fighting soda-muatated crabs in a pool of toxic cola only to have some random dude show up and save me.  I'm also surprised by how funny some parts of the game are; the computers in the nuka cola factory are hilarious.  One of the computers talks about how their next flavor was going to be nuka cola clear.

Not only that, but there are about 20 different rewards for that quest depending on how you answer her and how many of the optional goals you do. The Wasteland Guide is a pretty insanely detailed sidequest.

Which is annoying because her voice is quite grating :lol

Does anyone use the rock-it-launcher in combat?  Seems like I wasted a bunch of bottlecaps for nothing.  Sure, it's kinda fun shooting mutilated body parts all over the freakin' place but I'm not going to lug around a heavy collection of torsos and stuff like tin cans and ciggerette packs don't seem to do a hell of a lot of damage.
