I would give it another listen. Its definitely more understated than her previous albums and the theme of surreal housewife stuff does seem a bit droll at first but I really began to appreciate it after multiple listens. And its the type of album that really ebbs and flows well within the album.

EDIT: That's not the .psd its the .jpg! You didn't save a copy of the project file? The one with access to the layers, etc. etc.?

Been listening to the new Metronomy album "The English Riviera" and Brakesbrakesbrakes' "The Beatific Visions". Not really sold on the Metronomy one yet, although I really like the single. As soon as the opening track began on Belong, I thought I was having a high school flashback where I discovered the long lost Smashing Pumpkins record.

I still love love love Pains, they're easily one of my favorite bands currently making music.
