I got my monitor at the end of 2008, and only just NOW found that there's an option to enable 1:1 aspect ratio for a proper 16:9 picture when playing consoles on it.
EDIT: Any PS3 game that is 720P won't upscale to 1080P with this setting enabled, and will run in a small window.

360 has no problem with any game.
Anyway, been playing:
Dark Awake (PSN): This is a Japanese-only PSN 2D fighting game. It's a port of a five or six year-old arcade game originally titled "Chaos Breaker." It uses prerendered sprites and looks butt-ugly on an HD monitor/TV. It's a Golden Axe/D&D style fighter where you pick various medievil characters (including obvious Golden Axe rip-offs) and can use items gained in combat/assist attacks. It plays pretty stiffly and is nothing special, but is an amusing little oddity. The game also has some of the worst voice acting I have ever heard, being so bad that's funny. It even has online play, although being Japanese-only, it's got awful, awful lag playing from the States. Who would have ever thought someone would port this game to current consoles?
Persona 3 Portable (PSP): Getting back to the grind. I only play this game in small spurts, so I finally made it to floor 12 of the Tarturus last night.
BlazBlue Continuum Shift (PS3/360: Messing around with Makoto.
Sengoku Basara 3 (PS3): So awesome.
Time for some SSF4. It's been a few days...that's a big break for me!
uh, no. I don't play boob games.
But you've been playing SRW.

I rebought Warriors Orochi 2 for the third time
Why not get Musou Orochi Z on PS3? You get both games on the disc, plus the extra characters/dream levels (that the American PSP version of WO2 got) and more enemies present than any other version.
