guys so much for the gay subtext :-X

anyway I GOT ALL THE GOAL IN SORCERER! AND IN PINBOT
WHICH MEANS THE ONLY TABLE I HAVE TO MASTER IS MEDIEVAL MADNESS AND THEN I 1000/1000 IT! :hyper :hyper :hyper

i got really close to activate battle for the kingdom,5 castle downs, troll, joust, damsel and catapult done... it's really easy to get extra ball's on it if you know what you are doing

the worst goal sounds like activating barnyard multiball

Im giving Bastion a fair shot, but its not hooking me like its clearly hooked others- that said I bought Gatling Gears for PC (double dip boom) and am enjoying it as much as I did on 360- wish this game got more love.

There were two; Rise of a Ninja and Broken Somethingorother. I played a lot of the first one; it's pretty good!

Correct, rise of a ninja and broken Bond. The third game on 360 was actually a sequel to the PS3 game that I never really liked much so that was sad times. It's not awful but I preferred the first two 360 games, broken bond being the better of the two. Playing the first isn't really required.

Just played some Daioujou. I haven't touched the game in a while, but all of a sudden I started chaining the beehive on stage 5 every time. I used to spend hours practicing that section, while only having like a 5% success rate, but somehow I can do it pretty much every time now. ???

Now if I can get a nice 2000ish chain on stage 5 in a real run, I'll be able to get a good 150+ million out of that stage alone. Fuck yeah. :D

i stopped playing ninja gaiden at chapter 5 and it took me a littleto get reaccustomed to the control but i'm fine now,i quickly got to chapter 6 the monastery

the problem is that i'm realizing i don't really like it,i like devil may cry and bayonetta where you dodge, run all over the place, pull off crazy combo... but in comparison this game feels exactly like onimusha, right to the dumbass "puzzle" that don't really have any reason to be there in the first place and the combat which seems mostly to be about my ability to keep that block button pressed like there is no tomorrow

Main difference between NG and DMC/Bayonetta is that the enemies in NG are actually out to kill you. Most of the enemies in DMC and Bayonetta are just combo fodder.

Puzzles are annoying though. Thank god NG2 got rid of all of the non-action bits and made every level completely linear. It's a pure action game with no fluff. :bow

Messed around with my new 3d tv.  While 3d movies are stupid, some 3d games are actually kind of cool.  Wipeout HD in 3d is amaaaazing even at 30fps.  Will replay the whole game in 3d I think.  Mortal Kombat looked pretty nice in 3d as well.  Otoh Sly Cooper Collection looked terrible in 3d and Motorstorm 3d looked meh.  Will be a case by case basis whether I play them in 3d, but if done well 3d gaming can be cool...or maybe it'll get old in a few days.

Yeah, even I was able to clear it on Hard on the first run, and get everything except the no-vita-chambers Achievement. I did a second run just for that.

It's a fun game, but I'd had enough of it. Never elected to bag Bioshock 2, though Sho Nuff swears the DLC is super good.

On a whim I decided to pick up Lunar PSP. This version is so terribad... easily the worst out of all the Lunars. Even Lunar Legend is better.

Play the PS1 version if you ever decide to replay it. Superior version confirmed.

Confession time: I was never able to get past the spiky one-eyed cloud boss in Kirby.  :'(

On a whim I decided to pick up Lunar PSP. This version is so terribad... easily the worst out of all the Lunars.
Even worse than Lunar Dragonsong (DS)? I'm impressed. That game is one of the few I've ever sold. To beat that is quite an impressive feat.

On topic:

PC:
Space Marines.... yum yum yum. Flawed, but Funnnnnnnnn - yes, with a capital F.

ipad:
Jetpack Joyride. Touch screen to fly up(using your machine gun jetpack)/jump(while driving vehicles)/change gravity(with the gravity suit). That's it (plus loooots unlockables). Were it not for the horrible HQX-like smudge filter over nearly everything, I'd love this game. As it is, it's just kinda OK. Still, for one buck I'm certainly content. Barebones as it is, I've wasted far too many hours on this game.

DropZap 1&2. Tetris-like Puzzler. You drop spheres from above and they make spheres connected to them smaller and ... I just can't explain it. Presentation-wise, there's not much to write home about, but I'm addicted to the gameplay.

...also Angry Birds. Bought a copy for my old man, wanted to have something in common to talk about; now he owns my sorry ass. That blasted bird maniac can do magic when it comes to anything with wings and beaks. Still, I need to put things right. I will beat him. In the game. It's kind of an assy game though. Fling birds until out of birds, hope for benevolent randomizer, repeat until brain damage.

Playin until my vacation ends on teh Monday:

Warhammer 40k: Space Marine (PC) - Made it to chapter 4 in single player then got hooked on the multiplayer. Not a lot of maps just yet, but most are ok- hopefully they add some more maps. Made level 18, my tactical loadout is getting pretty diverse. I dont have a lot of talents yet though- and those are what make the difference.

SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked (3DS) - Getting the hang of this one, on EZ MODE cause im a Devil Survivor scrub.

Persona 4 (PS2) - 40 hours in- mostly near the end.

Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 (360) - 60 hours in, licenses all day every day- that and those final rep stragglers gooooooooooooodd damnit

I got Final Fantasy XII for like $6 on ebay. So far it's pretty goddamn boring. I just went out to the desert to kill some mutant tomato or something. So far the battle system is full-distinguished mentally-challenged fellow: wait for some gauge to fill up, then press x to attack, repeat over and over. When does it get good?

There's a GAUGE (it's called a BAR) in every FF game since FF1, Green Shinobi. Don't whine, enjoy.

I was going to say, there's only like three boss battles in the first one.

Only played the first two, but God of War II is my favorite. Just because it's so over the top. And doesn't have Hades' spinning blades. I think I plowed through both games in just a few sittings. My one roommate watched me play II all the way through, I bought it on release (actually only one of two times I've ever been carded for a game after paying $2 for The Getaway, which yes, I regret) and I think it was finished by Thursday or Friday of that week. (I'm a 2-3 hour player per day or so at most generally. Not hardcore like you guys. Something like Batman:AA, I did over like a week and a half.) He even called me one night because he was running late and wanted to see the rest. :lol

Last few weeks have been expected to be busier than normal but because of that I've wound up with more time to do some gaming. So I'll ramble even though nobody cares.

Civ V. Steam sale.

Finally got a friend to start playing Sanctum. They're hyping the coming update in-game now, excited for that. Had done co-op prior with a high school guy I have on my Steam list that I saw bought it (and had to remind him who I was :-\), also played with some Aussies one night, lag actually wasn't too bad with them. But always good to play with somebody you know better.

Star Trek: Elite Force II. Randomly decided to replay the first game this summer with the fancy explore the ship expansion, figured I should finally play the second. Gotta love the Quake 3 engine, bring up the console, type a couple commands, and bam can get it working on 16:9 with proper FOV. HUD isn't perfect of course, but we can live with that. Gameplay not mindblowing of course, but is still in that older style of FPS that had shooting plus plenty of puzzles and some platforming. Not to mention the whole geek-out factor from being able to run around the "actual" ships.

Everyday Genius: Square Logic. Often play a few boards of this a week. Mostly waiting for things like water to boil or something to cook. Good time waster.

Tried the Space Marine and Hard Reset demos. Space Marine was sorta meh in the first offering, the melee from that Gears style perspective took a few minutes to figure out plus the level wasn't all that great, but the jetpack one was silly fun. Commented on Hard Reset in fistfuls thread.

Some minor soloing in Guild Wars with the new character I created this spring. Played some Wii while defragging, I initially forgot you could use the nunchuck with Mario Kart Wii which I hadn't played in like a year. You can laugh at my initial steering frustrations. Tried to kill some time in NSMBW and died like ten times on some random level in world two. :lol

At least the masterpiece that is Order Up! was there to sooth my wounds from Nintendo's vicious assault on me.

Didn't know there was a Kirby game on NES until last night. Playing that. It's really, REALLY fun. The NES continues to be my favorite system.
The one GBA game is a remake of it I think.

Ditto. Fuck Persona 3

- horrible battle system
- boring s.link
- tons of copy pasted stuff
- plot that moves at galactic pace, let's not forget part of it includes "the heroes go to beach" and "the heroes go to the hot spring"
- having monster randomly explode in your face killing you doesn't make a game hard
- overrated!

the only good thing out of that game is the battle theme!

atlus, would you kindly stop making persona games? :teehee

occasionally I try to give older games a go and see if I can finally finish them.  I tried Geist today and it is so bad.

no wonder Wii kids liked The Conduit if this is the garbage quality of FPS they've been weaned on.

sad realizations looking through my gaming collection:

I own GTA4 for PS3, 360 and PC, and I don't even like the game.
I own MGS2 and MGS3 three times, and I'm buying the HD collection.  I have more copies of MGS1.

honestly didn't remember I had these, but two copies of Devil May Cry 1 (GH and regular), Wild Arms 5 (haven't played this), a dance dance revolution game for PS2 (never played this series).

I can kinda see double dipping on GTA IV on pc, since there are probably mods for it to make it super sexy and high frame rate, and you can apparently run the vice city or San Andreas game worlds on RAGE.

I've played more 4 on 360 than I should have, but I almost grabbed a copy of Tales from Liberty City PS3 the other day, when my 360 was relegated to a different room.
