Listened to the album all last night and all this morning.

Stand out tracks are:

There was a Murder
Footsteps

Pretty good overall. Pusha just kills Malice.

"Follow me like twitter, check my timeline"

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Still, I'm looking forward to their concert. I caught them twice up in Boston and they always put on a good show.

Scratch that, this is a fucking good album.
The club tracks don't play, but really who gives a shit-- and if you do, you're not really a clipse fan anyway.

I'm definitely picking this up when it comes out.

Here's another TTCD link with all the tracks. My own upload, so it should last a while: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=YDACHSS1

The album is great, imo. I'm loving Freedom, Showing Out, and There Was a Murder. I thought it would piss me off, but the fake Jamaican accent on There Was a Murder works.

Agree, great album. I'm really big on Footsteps and Showing Out. I wasn't too big on a couple of their first singles, but in the context of the album proper, they work great. I think the album has almost as much chemistry as HHNF.

damn, i'm glad khalil didn't kill himself, his beats are some of the hottest on casket.

lyrically, it's not nearly as fierce as HHNF, but, really, clipse never puts out a shitty album/mixtape.

edit: also, fuck that pusha vs. malice noise, this is the first album where i feel like malice really holds his own against pusha and even outshines hims a few times.

I'm mixing down new tracks, I met a cat down here that's been writing rhymes, also a promoter in Birmingham is looking into us already. Only let em listen to 2 songs and he want us to finish our mixtape so we can get on the spring college tours. :P

I did the shit to pass the time and didn't think it would do anything, but apparently people in the south like it. :lol ...it's odd.

Jay Electronica: “Act Two Is Coming December 25th”

If some of you aren’t aware yet, Lupe recently announced he’s not dropping Friend Of The People on X-Mas. Sucks, right? But that sting should only be temporary, as Jay called in to Shade45 to announce that Act II: Patents Of Nobility will drop that day. Now go ahead and change your draws. Props to Nav.

I read some earlier posts and saw DOOM hate, fuck those people. This is hands-down one of the best albums I've heard in YEARS. I didn't think I could go gaga over an album again, only getting more jaded as time goes on, but jesus CHRIST this album is brick-solid.

Born Like This is alright, but rather disappointing. I had been waiting for new DOOM only to be greeted with an album that sounded thrown together. Plus the songs I had heard before (Angelz, and he almost ruined it with the obnoxious drums), suspect beats, and the horrible sounding fake cartoon skits. But it definitely has some fuck awesome tracks like Gazillion Ear, Cellz, and Absolutely

iirc St. Corn you made a similar argument against Cuban Linx II (old tracks/beats), and that was my fav hip hop album last year. I guess the difference for me is that even though there were old songs (Gihad) and beats (10 Bricks etc etc), Rae killed nearly every track.
