I've been pretty consistent. Aside from two crappy chapters, the game owns.
Maybe I just keep stepping into the thread whenever you're apparently flopping back and forth like a fish on a pier! ok, move along then, nothing to see here.
In order to flop, you have to go from saying,"I don't like this." to "I love this".
What you're basically telling me is that you lack the intellect and capacity to gauge a game without fully hating it with every fiber of your being or loving it on every level.
The truth of the matter is that, often times when games that are 40-50 hours, there are times where the game bogs down and there are times when the game can have high points. There are some elements I really loathe about FF13 (the linearity, the lack of exploration, the monotonous nature of certain areas, the lack of any defined sense of level design, the writing, the dialogue, the heavy handed bullshit that is the plot development seen in the game), but at the same time there's still enough to like (the graphics, some of the characters, the music, the combat, the difficulty in later chapters, the bosses).
So please, have some perspective.
