I saw an episode of Jeopardy once, and I while I forget what the category and clue were, the answer the contestant gave was so random and not even remotely close to approximating the answer the show was looking for, to the point where I was unable to stop laughing for a solid 5 minutes.

Like I said, I forget the category/question, but the contestant responded with this gem: "what is a fish taco?"

Naw son, my alpha-male tendencies are too strong for this ish. He was bubbling with slow rage since I got there and he finally managed to snap at me over me using the toilet paper that was on the roll instead of instinctively looking through the cuboards for the shitty eco-news paper stuff. Then we did that whole pushing each other in the chest thing while taking turns saying "don't push me bro!", etc. until we ended up on the floor tusslin'. I landed a solid elbow in his cheekbone while all he did was throw some shallow rib shots, so I won. Then I took my bags and hit the streets.

My other grandma passed away earlier this afternoon, I wasn't really that attached to her since she lived in Miami and I only saw her every couple of years but I still feel kind of bad because I didn't even cried when I heard the news, I felt sad but just didn't feel like crying.

Sorry to hear that man... Sometimes it takes awhile for everything to hit home, you know? I wouldn't feel bad about it. Not everybody cries when people die. Shit the last funeral I went to, I felt like I was the only distinguished mentally-challenged fellow crying, but I cry over everything... It's my only female quality.  :'(

I had a great night. One of the girls who gave me her number dropped by and we made out for about an hour. I like her. It's been a while since I've been feeling someone. Hopefully it works out.

I started work at my job. I'm loving it. The people are great and I have a lot of freedom. I'm working on a story board for a commercial, the client being a local car dealership; not too bad of a gig right out of school.

Talking to some colleagues, I've talked myself out of going to grad school to pursue a MFA in film. I'm just going to make movies with the people at work (lots of us want to make movies) and iron out my editing. When the time is right, I plan on moving to Los Angeles for a post-production assistant job, and I'll be on my way the ladder of butt kissing, making and serving coffee, and attempts towards making my bosses sober.

Overall, it's been an awesome week and it's not even Hump Day.

On more lighter news, my friend called me a couple of hours ago to tell me she was in a line at the new Krispy Kreme shop( there were people lining up for over 48 hours before the opening tonight I shit you not) and I ask her how much the 24 box costs, it turns out that a box of 24 mixed donuts is RD$800, the guy that sold me and my friends a box last weekend charged us only RD$400! I'm gonna be stopping by this weekend at the same time to talk to him about doing some business

This also happened to me, but with my grandmother on my mom's side.  I never really had any kind of relationship with her.  She was always just sort of there, if that makes any sense.  She got Alzheimer's Disease the last few years of her life, and my grandparents moved to an apartment near us.  It got really, really bad and was really hard on my mom, who did everything she could to take care of her.  When my grandmother passed away it was kind of a relief, but while I was certainly sad about it, I didn't cry either.  I think it was more like she had already been "gone" for like a year before she died in this case, however.

I don't go to many weddings and I don't know many married couples so I guess I can't really relate.  The only thing that bugs me is friends that get back together and break up all the time with the same person.  

Wife and I know a girl who used to get beat by her boyfriend.  He's a drug addict and alcoholic.  We let her crash at our place for a few days while she got ready and she bailed out to her hometown 5 hours away and started her life there.  She was talking to my wife a few weeks ago and was talking about how lonely she was down there and how her ex was ignoring her.  My wife told her it'll get better and just to let it be.  2 days later on facebook she's talking about how she's moving back to be with her baby and shit.  we just wash our hands of those people.  When they ask for advice later or wanna talk about the same shit I tell them to shut the fuck up because it's their fault and they don't listen.  smh

in 2007, I went to 12 weddings in one summer. The age of these people were 23-25. 3 of them are still together.

But they were all Italian.
