During the first class of epistemology, a freshman "asked" about a dozen questions (basically to the effect of "how do you know?") before being g told off by the prof and then by a student (not as gently as the prof), to the applause of the class. He never came back.

He was well-liked though.

Pre-flop, flatting T8s in the SB is fine if he doesn't think he has much chance of getting Tilly to fold. Against a lot of donks, and I assume he thought she was a donk, it doesn't make much sense to 3-bet bluff much as they're unlikely to fold. It's better just to expand a 3-bet value range.

On the flop, he has second pair, a gut-shot, and a backdoor draw. He has good equity even against a tight-button range. But his hand isn't good enough to raise for value and it isn't bad enough to turn into a bluff. Calling is standard.

Checking the river is fine. He's not getting value from any worse hands on that board. He's not folding a jack (OK, after seeing the way she played the hand, maybe she folds against a super loose and aggressive player).

I have to assume you're trolling--We have a woman who neither bet the turn nor river for value because she feared the Finish God had pocket kings. There's one possible combo of pocket kings. Was he really going to flat pre-flop, check-call on a connected board, then check the two streets with pocket kings. And your focus is on Antonius.

i explained the plot of Audition to my friend's gf and she muttered "oh, the evil woman, of course" under her breath in a snotty voice and didn't continue the conversation (audition is about a chick who goes bonkers on a dude, but in an extreme horror movie way that isn't really saying "women are evil.") It's one of my favorite movies of all time, if not my fave. Context: i blew up on one of her girlfriends a few years ago when she broke it off with me...which was preceded by months of her friend's fuckery and me being patient, but after the blow up, nobody asked for my side of the story, ever.

is it just me or am i judged?

i guess that wouldn't be enough to go on for you guys to make the call...but man, I just get the coldest vibe from my friend's gf. It was kind of a joke a few years ago among a bunch of us-- whenever we talked about her, one of us would say "[friend's gf] hates me" and then jokingly argue who she hated more, cause we all sort of felt that way. it was a joke before, but it made my visit kinda awkward, so now i'm a little salty about it.

--I rarely ever got cavities before
--but I have eaten a ton of sugar and had a few week stint of drinking lots of energy drink earlier this year

I'm gonna guess zero. I've only ever had one cavity and I was always confused how people could have one and not know. It hurt everytime I ate something! Is pain a normal thing in eating for most people or something?

We've had people come in with 10-15 cavities and none of them were in pain or could feel them. Especially after long periods of not going to the dentist.

Your teeth have five surfaces, and you can have cavities on each. The deeper the cavity goes, the more pain or sensation you feel; also once you get to around four surfaces you start requiring extractions or crowns. So yea bros, you can save more money going to the dentist regularly every three or six months, rather than waiting until your teeth require super expensive care.

Good to know. I'm still glad that I've ever only had one cavity. Even more remarkable was that I didn't take good care of my teeth for 19 years of my life. Too bad I did a lot of damage already

fuck yeah. They had to use the full set of tools to get all the build up out-- scraper, scaler, and the salt blaster.
