I think I have a really sensitive stomach. I can't drink a cup of coffee without having to shit in 45 minutes (this might even be generous). If something doesn't agree with me, I usually know within 5 minutes. Some stuff seems to just pass right through. I'm pretty sure the last time I was constipated I was like 11? We got by with quartz space heaters in the last apartment we were in. If you limit the heated area by closing a few doors, this works great. But, yeah, be careful you don't get stale air too.

I caved and purchased cable for the first time ever (Comcast). I've been too lazy to buy a converter box/antenna so I can get basic channels, since I don't really watch TV. Typically I watch things online. But after years of using streams to watch sports I finally had to retire from that shit, especially now; Saturday and Sunday were GREAT sports days, I was in heaven, and tonight will be great (MNF). If there was a way to just get ESPN, TNT, and local channels I'd jump on it...but alas I had to purchase a bunch of shit I'll never watch. At least it only adds about $10 on my monthly bill (since I already had internet).

Man...I forgot about commercials. Shit is kinda annoying.

I also have HBO for a year. One of the HBO channels showed a ludicrous softcore porn that didn't show any penetration, and every girl in it was blonde. The name was Obsession.

The worst thing is I saw some dick for a brief moment. I sat closer to the TV just to see if I could catch it and yup...dude wasn't even hard. So two weird things today.

First I realized that I generally don't like big parties or events and that the crowds really make me uncomfortable. However, at the same time I've played sold out concert halls and have given several speeches to huge crowds of people and I have no problem with that. In fact I do it like I own the room. It's really weird.  I'll skip out on a huge party because I'm uncomfortable but put me in front of it, no problem.

Second, and much more entertaining, I was taking the light rail back to hotel and it was shoulder to shoulder packed. I was standing next to a middle aged dude in business casual and everyone's got their cells out and I see this guy typing up a storm. I peek over and see him type the lines "I'm a 5'5" Asian with big double D boobs."

I noped right out of there and scooted away as quickly as I could.

So the conference is over. I was really pleased by how diverse it was. Roughly half of the attendees were women and every race was rather well represented across both genders EXCEPT, I didn't see a single black woman while I was there. Not one and there were thousands of people there. At first I'd expect the whole "No women in tech" card, but like I said, women were nearly half the attendees. Not like it was rare to see one. And while they weren't representative of their share of the population there were still plenty of black guys there, again not rare. But honestly I didn't see a single one.  Walking pass a cluster of people you stood a good chance to see a person of every race/gender group in it but not black women. I wonder why.
