I can't give much advice since if I remember correctly, you wanted to go into something related to illustration and I don't know anything about that graphic design stuff.
I can say that if you're taking the GRE, you don't have to study much. I mean literally a few weeks with maybe an hour a day to cover all the random vocabulary and probability problems you would need to cover. The analytical writing section is mostly just graded on word count, vocab complexity, and sentence variation so I submitted a total garbage nonsensical essay that made no convincing argument and got 92 percentile. My friend who's been doing drama writing for years got 40-something percentile. Yeah it's bullshit but easy points.
To be honest, success in life is mostly just luck but nothing is determined. Take a chance and try to do what you really want. What kind of jobs do you want to go into?
