It's nearly impossible to get good Kvass in the states. It's all bottled and all the brands I've tried are just not right and very inconsistent. Nothing beets Kvass from the tap.

I recomend Duchess (pear flavored soda) and Tarjun (tarragon flavored, sounds weird but it works, and it's green and cool looking). Kvass your mileage will vary due to the above information.

I'm not either. I lost my love of super hot stuff when my grandma started growing Trinidad moruga scorpions, ghost chilli, all that shit. Too hot even for me.

I generally think the less hot chiles have better flavors. Pasilla and ancho

you should check out some Peruvian chiles. Aji Limo, Ajo Panca, Aji Rocoto, Aji Amarillo are just the mainstream ones that I've used, but there's hundreds of varieties.

um, so for a bunch of 60 year olds, they put on one of the best live shows I've seen. I sat way up in the bleachers (bought the tickets last minute and didn't feel like breaking the bank), but the sound was perfect, and they played so clean and tight. Bruce Dickinson still has his pipes and still runs around the stage like a madman at 60 years of age. Janick Gers is still as useless as ever.
