In order to keep the cost down, they won't be including an AC adapter. You'll have to buy it separately, but you can also use your adapter from your other Nintendo hardware.

The battery life improvement is nice, but games are probably going to look even worse on this than the current 3DS. If you care about graphics/IQ this looks like a downgrade.240p resolution at Vita screen size...^^;

My ideal (and realistic) 3DS upgrade model would simply be:

-BETTER QUALITY SCREENS (better viewing angle, black level, etc...)
-2nd analog slider
-More comfortable form factor
-Better battery life

Maybe next year. Maybe next year...

I play all my DS games on my DSi XL. Even at it's shite resolution, larger screen (potentially usable 3D?), a decent battery life, and more comfortable size are an improvement. I mean, the 3DS d-pad is awful and awfully placed. I need to use the analog slider for games I'd traditionally use a d-pad for.

Internal memory has been increased to 645300 BLOCKS!! (4 gigs lol).

With a whopping 4 gigs I doubt they'll include an SD card. Costs man, they're so COSTLY!

If you want an approximation of the "3DS XL Experience" just tape a PSP to the top half of a DSi XL

and make sure that list doesn't include: sales/cheap games or DLC. Both are cool now. Large screens too. And battery life (nice catch, Shaka).

Says 3.5 to 6.5 hrs battery life for the XL. At the low point, which is probably the realistic point unless you want to turn everything off and play under a blanket, that's only a 1/2 hour increase in battery life, 1 hr if you want to be generous.

ignoring nintendo's battery claims, the DSi XL battery life is significantly longer than the DSi. I can't imagine this situation will be different. Something like 1.5 times.
