Cesaro is definitely the best newcomer this year. I'm legit surprised at how well booked he's been. He's a strong heel who goes over clean and rarely uses the cowardly way out? Mah gawd.

Ya know, the E has been doing pretty well in the midcard this year. There's actual competition for the Tag Team, Intercontinental, and US championship. Hell, even the WHC is booked pretty well. Big Show may not be the best thing in the company but he's been pretty awesome the last few weeks. Those matches with Sheamus were damn good and actually managed to make both parties look strong in the end.

They just need to fix the main main event stuff. Punk is fine but his time is about to be over and we'll be back to the Cena grind.

They still have plenty of boring wrestlers and retardo-stupid storylines fucking everything up.  And that third hour of RAW NEEDS TO GO.

Cesaro hasn't had an actual good feud- he's just floundering in the midcard.

It's great that they finally added someone new to the main event...only it's the still totally green and can't last for too long Ryback.  Smackdown!  is just endless Big Show and Sheamus matches and RAW is endless CM Punk and Cena/Ryback matches.

But whatever, things should get better for the short-term with the Rumble coming and the Mania buildup starting up again.  I haven't watched in two weeks and have enjoyed this WWE-free "vacation."

Cesaro hasn't had a good feud because they don't have ANYONE that is capable of being pro America and shit aside from Cena. If they put Cena on Intercontinental championship, give him a gimmick change like it seems they are hinting at now, it'll give the IC belt more prestige that it used to have.

Completely agreed Fistful. You can tell they're really trying to improve. I hear most of these changes are HHH's doing as well.

The best debut was the Shield.  Just that one PPV match alone put them on top of all the other new guys.  Whether or not they can keep doing that well remains to be seen.

I think things could be a lot better if-

-Vince finally fuckin' steps the hell down and lets HHH and Nipple H run things
-They drop the PG crap
-They build up the women's division a bit again
-They completely end the brand split (it's already pretty much dead anyway)
-They come up with decent storylines for EVERYONE-  Even the lower midcard guys like during the Attitude Era
-They get some capable announcers AND color commentary people

The PG rating is irrelevant. They need better writers, full stop and better booking full stop. That's it. They have the talent, they just need to find things to do with that talent. Also, fire Hayes. Have Vince retire.

Good on the commentary though. The commentators today suck. Lawler needs to retire and Cole needs to go back to straight interviewing because fuck.

The rating affects the booking and storylines.  It's even stupider when they tend to skirt the line on some stuff but not on others.  Ditch it, go back to how it used to be and have crazy-ass storylines and make the divas useful with tits and ass again, because they sure aren't good for anything else right now.

I also miss the days of good managers and stables.

Remember when Sgt Slaughter supported Iraq during the gulf war? Would they be able to do that now? I think WCW was pg too. But maybe the standards are stricter in 2012 than 1997.

1997?  That was like '91 dude.   :lol

Shit isn't stricter now...it's less so.  WWE changed to PG to get more lucrative advertisers.  Remember when Daniel Bryan was fired for the Justin Robers necktie "choking" incident?  That was due to pressure from one of the sponsors.

To be fair, the WWE was sucking before the PG change too, but it's still better than things have been for the past couple of years.   :P

If WWE were smart (and they're not!) they'd kill Team Hell No (starting with this current angle they got with losing tonight), have D Bry prove he can tangle with the big guys starting with his former partner Kane, switch up his gimmick so he's more serious and and real like Punk, and then book him against The Rock at Mania and win.

D Bry is the most over guy on the roster. His pop goes over universally. Time to get over John Lame-a, he only has what, a few years left? And go with the future - Daniel Bryan.

His delivery of "Your arms are just too short to box with God" is the most villainous line I've ever heard. Punk is on his A game.

The Rock? Goddamn has he slipped. That candy ass bit was terrible. And he looked tired as fuck giving him that bad looking rock bottom. I hope he loses at the Rumble but The Rock only has time to put over Cena in the TWICE IN A LIFETIME match at WM29.

It's the Johnny Saint special!  Check around 3:30

I had (and might still have) a VHS compilation of Saint from back in the day when tape trading was how you watched anything besides that week's WCW and WWF programming.  There's a match with Fit Finlay in there.  Really goofy and unique style of matwork, and a golf-clapping crowd that was about as far as you could get from the Memphis crowds that would have been braying for Andy Kaufman's head around the same time.

Naw, Rock is gonna win at Rumble. That is given. But we're all curious who is going to get top card at Mania and it is rumored that it will be a Rock vs Cena rematch. If Rock goes with Punk at Mania, Punk WILL win, because Rock is a part timer and can't have the belt too long since he will rarely have the time to show up at Raw. Whoever ROck faces at Mania, he will lose to for that reason. It makes more sense to go with Punk, who is just now working on his WWE legacy, than Cena, who is a 12 time champion.

Because it's John Cena. Even if other guys are more deserving and need that push, the WWE revolves around him and everything he's been involved in for the past year has been busy work getting him ready for The Rock rematch. I expect his feud with Ziggler to just end come the Rumble when Cena tosses a banana peel out in front of him causing Ziggler to do a 360 flip out of the ring or something equally embarrassing for the future WHC. I mean shit, Ziggler couldn't even get a dirty win over Cena last night and he used all his moves (his superkick looks really nice, by the way).

The Rock wins at the Rumble and takes the title into Elimination Chamber where he faces Cena, Punk and two randoms. Cena almost wins but there's some screwy interference and Rock retains. This sets up Cena vs Rock for the title (Cena wins it, duh) and Punk goes on to either not be in WM29 or faces Lesnar, Undertaker, Randy Orton or a returning superstar like Christian or Mark Henry.

Seriously fuck Cena. The more I see of that guy the more it's harder for me NOT judge him as a person and not a character.

Because it's John Cena. but they've had punk as champion for a STRAIGHT YEAR from calendar to calendar and he talks about RESPECT and BEST IN THE WORLD. In order to end the storyline, and pass the torch, CM PUNK HAS to beat the Rock to get his belt back. WWE writers CAN'T be that short sighted.

Oh wait.

Someone please upload the pipe bomb promo from tonight PLEASE.
