PS3 version isn't that bad, but it really shows the game wants a PC/PS4.

The game itself is completely by the numbers and not worth subscribing to. If they remade it into an offline MMO-esque game (like a sequel to a game that already did that... hmmmm)? I'd probably pick it up to go through, but at $15/month a pop? No.

I don't know man, that PS3 version goes almost single digits in the frame rate during some FATES. It never even has a framerate at or above 30fps, the animation is choppy for mostly everything, and the game dosen't even look good. I'd say it's pretty awful. Hopefully the PS4 version is damn good.

And would I say it's some revolutionary MMO? Nope, it's pretty much an average one. But I've enjoyed it a heck of a lot more then say Guild Wars 2, a more unique mmo. The dungeons have been very fun, the story mode has had some FF moments, and the game is just a pleasure aesthetically.

Is it worth subscribing to? I'm not sure, I have 2 months free game time and I'm not sure if I'll continue, but I probably will. I'm just having a good time with the game.

Unfortunately Nintendo is not making their product better and they've chosen to try to bribe me into using a poor service by offering me a product two weeks early. I'm insulted that I've been relegated to a second class of customer just because I don't yet feel their online service has better value than in store purchase.

Yeah I was on the fence on the "bribe" word. It's certainly not a bribe if you're already a big fan of NIntendo's eShop, but if you consider the two weeks exclusivity to be an "incentive" for a product that you don't want, then I think "bribe" is apt.

GAF should just get rid of its anti-piracy stance.  Not allow torrents, Mediafire, etc. to be posted but not make it bannable to admit you pirated something.  That way we see a lot less discussion of "review copies" and "accidental bans due to pirated games."

They can't. You can't be a big "respected" website, one that courts game developers and actively allows a pirating scene. I get it. And if you a respect a site you should probably not use it for piracy discussion in general just because it can bring unwanted consequences.

I just think its hilarious when hypocrisy blends perfectly with a group's predisposed inclination to hivemind. 26 pages before the truth comes out that a dude was pirating and got caught but the thread was never really about that.

Is this an American thing or is it just a gaffer thing? I'm not sure what is more worrying: that I'm speaking with people on personal terms who lack any sense of humanism and empathy or that the American public are a group of people who have a "fuck you" attitude - universally - to any type of criminality that apparently deserves the most harshest of actions. I think that intent should always be taken into question. In this case, the intent was to rob, not kill. I don't find it humane, or remotely realistic, to give her life without parole. It feels like a total waste of a life, resources, and tax dollars.

It wasn't deviantart, it was a professional photograph in which the OP asked people to remove the watermark and someone did it. Neither person was banned. As someone who designs shit it pissed me off pretty hard.
