The choices I'm presented with here are a bit agonizing. Now that I'm comfortable with Rooney and Costa up front, I'm tinkering around with my midfield.

Couple questions:

Sigurdsson or Noble? Two budget midfielders, not sure about the potential.

Eriksen or Nasri or Mata? Just dying over this one. I think Eriksen has pretty incredible value but I could well go for Nasri as well, yet I'm a little hesitant to go for Man City midfielders now due to how much they rotate.

sigs is likely to go up in value, whereas noble is a relatively unexciting but consistent team filler, though probably will take on a few more responsibilities this year as nolan is looking like death.

eriksen is best for the price, mata is an FPL favourite.

When folks who are new to the sport (probably Americans yeah) ask on forums what EPL team they should support, it's always followed by a chorus of "Arsenal cos NO OIL MONEY ETC ETC". There are dozens of similarly authentic clubs that are just as deserving of new support but won't get it because the Arsenal proselytizers are more numerous and rabid. Also those are midtable clubs that don't win the odd FA cup once every decade.

I've met quite a few fans of crazy clubs - Ipswich has it's own supporters branch too : Tokyo Ipswich Town Supporters ...

Hull, Colchester, Sunderland, St Mirren and on and on and on... there's Japanese fans of a load of crazy teams.

For me though - it's English people mainly. I might not support the team closest to me, but i've supported Ipswich since i was about 6 years old. I moved to that part of the world so i could go see Ipswich as often as i could, i went to away games when i wasn't in that region. So for me i find it jarring when someone suddenly decides they are a fan of one of the top 4 clubs - when they make out they've always been a fan despite not mentioning it for the best part of a decade then my eyes pack their bags and go on a 5 month roll vacation.

Fairly low after the Ander transfer. The attack is going to be dire / easy to neutralize unless there's a gem in the current crop of Lezama boys. (Which tbf isn't an impossibility.)

I feel like this tie is punishment for all the times I made fun of Serie A for being a retirement home league. Aduriz--who's the lone and only real forward worth playing on the squad--is like 33 and Carlos Gurpegui is probably 35 by now.

They're very lucky the away leg is shortly after the World Cup.
