The intercept is regarded by a bunch of people as Putin influenced. It might be simpler to say they are useful idiots.

The same people who say the intercept was russian influenced also say this report was exactly what Putin wants to happen. Because everything Putin influenced people do is supposed to be perfectly aligned with his game plan but it is more likely they wanted to break a story and they screwed up. And given Trumps focus on Leaks the FBI and DOJ could score an easy take down of a young contractor who didn't realise how to do things right.

It doesn't really matter - except for her and her family - the report is real and the aim of the attackers to specifically target election counting related firms, the way they specifically targeted the DNC etc, is the news.

What i always loved about Neogaf is it's extreme left leaning perspective on everything. People don't appreciate this enough. For example, i don't think I've ever stumbled on a thread in which it was allowed to have a differing philosophical axiom. Well, who said that it wouldn't be an exercise in futility? I like that everything is viewed through a certain lens and described as reality. And people here are very attentive to detail as long as it stays within the dogmatic boundaries.

This approach allows for similar people to discuss familiar experiences within a certain framework, and this is what makes Neogaf such an exotic and desirable internet corner.

There are plenty of places for center and right opinions to be had about a certain topic. I for one visit all the spectrum, distilled places are essential.

There's a real problem when he makes a long post about communication and then just up and deletes the people who respond to him with some criticism or differing opinions.  Nothing bad, no trolling...just COMMUNICATION, but instead their accounts and posts are erased.  And this is why the forum might seem unrecognizable to some long-time posters- who the hell wants to post anything to contrary when there's such a huge chance that you'll get banned for it?  Make a stupid, harmless joke?  Get dog-piled on and banned for that too.  What a fun place.

Ok. So I'm always on Gaf soley threw my phone. I don't have a PC. Pop up ads started happening today on my phone. It took me around 6 minutes to get to this thread because I kept having a pop up come on my phone and I can't exit it without closing the window completely. It has happened to me here on Gaf in the past but it wasn't this bad. It would happen maybe 3 times a week in the past but it's happen quite a bit in the last 24 hours. The pop ups are the you've won something types click here or such and such site detects 24 virus on your phone please click to start scan types.

It doesn't happen when I'm other sites. What can I do to fix it?

Ads are currently taking over my browser and forcing redirects I can't back out from. I have to close everything and start over each time.

Fellow Android user here. The pop ups have been insane this morning. Something really needs to be done ASAP as the site is pretty much unusable right now.

The page takeover ads are awful this morning. Can't even browse for 10 seconds without being redirected.
