Update for Mario Maker 2 includes the master sword power-up (SMB1 style only) that turns Mario into Link and lets him use arrows, bombs, and his shield.

Star Ocean 1 comes out this week on PS4/Switch. It's not a real exciting game (I think Grandia is better) but it's not an offensively terrible game either.

Finished Pokemon Sword. It was a fun game for someone like me who bought it because they liked Pokemon as a kid.

But yeah, they need to do more with this series.

The game world feels small and and as the 2nd half goes on feels really rushed. I remember in Silver, the new region felt so expansive. My 9 year old mind could only imagine what a console Pokemon game would look like. In 2019 we get cities that are one screen or a straight line. We don't even get a city that feels huge because it's got tons of unique things in it like a department store. Also I know it's user friendly, but being able to fly from the get-go really takes away from the adventure feel.

Also Jesus Christ is Pokemon storytelling bad. Not even fun bad, just bad.

It's more fun than you'd think it would be and can give you a workout- bit repetitive with what's available but otherwise a good way to get a bit of exercise while playing a "game".
