I already finished TMS on the WiiU. It's ok, but I wouldn't play through again. It's story and characters are not really for the kind anime/Japanese game fan I am. I'm not into the whole idol and cute girl culture.

I like that VAGINA BONE-GATE actually caused a spike in Japanese Wii U copy sales.  :lol

I like the game but I got bored and need to go back and finish the 3rd dungeon.

I kinda wish it was just a dungeon crawler like necrodancer, the overworld stuff is neat at first but kinda zzz after a little. Still a good title and I do plan to go back and finish it.

Booted up MHGU just for a quest or two but lost several hours to it... forgot how addicting Monster Hunter is. Want to resume playing regularly, and maybe do some rando online missions.

Sat down and finished up Cadence of Hyrule. Didn't get a lot of the key items since so many were optional and I'd run into puzzles that I couldn't solve without the right equip sometimes. Took about 5 hours and spear always seemed the best because of the range.

It's a good game that hits all the Zelda notes, but it always felt like it was missing something and never got really into it like a Zelda game. I guess it's like some Zelda games though where the overworld is kinda a tedious bore and the dungeons are the best part. I felt like the dungeon bosses never required you to use the items you got which was a bad idea. Like in the water/ice dungeon you get the ability to make a block which has a ton of potential for the boss fight or puzzles, but you pretty much never use it. Started up the new Octavio story but after a few screens wasn't interested in playing it again with a character very slightly different.

Can understand dumping Pokeemans, but Luigi's is good shit and its getting more content later on.

Messing around with Ninja JaJamaru Collection.  It runs in English, but that's more like "English" in that the menus are English and the 2019 game is English, but the rest of the games included are Famicom ROMs.  They seem pretty average anyway.  The real meat of this is the Great Yokai Battle, which like the original is more like a Bubble Bobble type of action game with a shitload of unlockables.  Just got a power-up that transforms you into the car from City Connection lol.

They put that song in as the title screen.

I mean up on this boss where the controls were reveresed I was really enjoying the game, a solid 7.5/10. But then I put it down and every time I came back I was like "man this boss is lame" and I lost interest. The game didnt warrant me sticking with it but I enjoyed what I played (which is most of it?).

Wasn't Panzer Dragoon supposed to drop this year?

Anyhoo, FF12 oozes production values even after all these years. I remember I got stuck on a boss and then my BC PS3 died and I never got to finish it, so here's hoping Ill have more luck this time.

This guy's muppet schtick is annoying and I avoid most of his videos, but goddamn is he speaking so much truth about literally every facet of S&S here.

The comparison to Gen 1, especially routes and caves is genuinely sad. 20 years later and there's less to do. #ThanksGamefreak

Ideal situation: Gamefreak takes four years off to make the Diamond/Pearl remakes, ensuring they can stand toe to toe with Nintendo's real first-party output (Animal Crossing, Breath of the Wild, Splatoon, Xenoblade, etc.)

Do a Metroid Prime 4. Delay the fuck out of it.

DO IT NINTENDO YOU COWARDS

Low-quality justification.

Animal Crossing is for toddlers and yet the new game still looks like... a finished game worth its price. Not sure what Pokemans excuse is.  :foodcourt

A more charitable interpretation is that Animal Crossing is for all ages, which isn't a bad thing.

The simple fact of the matter is that as a game with no failure state, it's well suited to players of any "skill" level -- since what skill could you possibly need before you can enjoy Animal Crossing? There are skills you can develop in-game, but the series is just as enjoyable taking a stroll on the beach and spending 3 hours in the rain trying to catch that FUCKING FINAL FISH YOU NEED GODDAMNIT.

And that's the same if you're 3 or 30.

I finished this over the weekend. The first level was easily the worst thing I have ever been introduced to in a Platinum game. Kingdom Hearts 2 wasn't as awful as this

It is straight up dogshit awful and almost ruined the game for me. Literally after that, you unlock the actual Platinum combat then it's like ok cool finally I thought I bought the wrong game for a second.

Story is dogshit awful, characters are shit, but the music bangs. Visuals are eh

Once you beat it, the post-game is just a bunch of combat missions then a super boss, but at that point you're probably ready to move onto the next one

There is a pricing error on Target so you can get Yoshi Crafted World for 1$ online at Traget. Seems to work without problems, as you get the code instanteously.

Code didn't redeem on my eu account on the website, but it probably will work if you switch your Switch to the Us eshop.

Missed that Saint's Row The Third got another patch last November.  They added an option for dynamic resolution that greatly improves performance and the game feels a lot smoother- no longer drops to 10-15 FPS and while not a solid 30 FPS, stays a lot higher than it did before.

Dunno if it was this patch or something going wrong when I got a new Switch last year, but my save for it also disappeared and it reverted to a point right after the intro segment, lol.

Dunno if it's because I got it for a buck but I actually quite enjoy Yoshi crafted world. Great graphics and visual design. Like the atmosphere as well; good game for relaxing when you're tired from a long day. Levels so far mostly had their own gimmick which varies the collect it all gameplay.

I'm also surprised how well hidden some of the flowers and coins are. Probably not going to bother with scanning each world for shootable objects in the background though.
