The latest episode of Foreign Policy's the ER "Life in the Post-Truth World" is good. It is nice to hear people be able to talk of the current steps in transition and the now infamous "dossier" without the GAF-level hysteria. Notably that the confirmation hearing for Mattis, Pompeo and Tillerson hinted of possible internal rifts of opinion (on Russia and intelligence agencies in general) within the administration. As a matter of fact, they delve a bit on Trump appointing many more internal White House entities with foreign policy, possibly source for severe confusion going forward.
As you would expect, the private investigation "dossier" has been making the rounds in Washington and press editing rooms for several months. Media didn't leak it because they have been unable, so far, to verify any of the allegations in it (neither have the FBI and intelligence agencies) even though they didn't find anything disproving them either.
Also that a lot of foreign politicians and diplomats think they'll be able to keep the boat steady by flaunting Trump's ego with commercial deals he could take credit for.
