If Sunkara is right, it means Sanders and Warren may not be swimming in the same lane after all. It may also mean Sanders’s upside is limited since it’s hard to win the Democratic nomination when running against the Democratic Party.

Like it or not, that's what most actual laws turn out to be. Sometimes "real change" happens through the cumulative effect of these these "half measures".

I'd draw a connection between her "I've got a plan for that" product differentiation and the Hillary Clinton camp's position that she was the most qualified candidate ever (plus she had a bunch of policies on her website no one visited). Essentially technocracy rides unto the breach once more.
