I get the impression that Tucker is closer to me in assuming anything we may dislike about Bernie is going to get DC'd to death anyway, especially if the GOP holds a house of Congress, while he can be a foreign policy positive since Congress and everyone has given up trying to restrain the executive branch. Or it might cause Congress to get back to their job on that front. (lol ya rite, if Trump hasn't)

I've only used shosta's account a few times, and each time it was for a pre-arranged gag that we discussed ahead of time, though I sometimes went further than shosta had perhaps envisioned.

Anyway, about a week ago, Bernie was around 60c on Predictit, and Biden had fallen to around 16.

Biden got to 24c on the heels of some strong polls leading up to SC. Rose to 28c the evening after SC, then fell back to the 24 range. Rose to 33-34c when Butt dropped out.

Currently on Predictit, you can get Bernie D Nom shares for 46c, Biden for 42.

I'm getting nervous, friends.

There may be plenty of second chances in life, but there are very few when it comes to voting — a bitter pill to swallow for those Californians who voted for any of the presidential candidates who dropped out before Tuesday’s statewide election.

The sudden exit from the race Sunday by Pete Buttigieg, former mayor of South Bend, Ind., sparked some brief interest on social media about the rules governing a possible revote. No doubt similar questions were raised by those who cast early absentee ballots for Tom Steyer, the billionaire climate change activist who left the race Saturday.

The answer, in a word: no. There’s no provision in California election law for a second chance once a ballot has been mailed or cast in person at a polling place or regional vote center.

“Once you vote, you vote,” said Kim Alexander, president of the nonpartisan California Voter Foundation. “There’s no do-over.”

Other candidates have also dropped out since the first ballots were mailed out more than a month ago. Entrepreneur Andrew Yang abandoned his White House bid Feb. 11, almost two weeks after some California counties began mailing out ballots. Of the 20 Democrats whose names appear on the ballot, almost half have formally suspended their campaigns since late December, when the list was certified by state elections officials.

Some voters openly speculated Sunday on social media whether they could simply go to a local election site and cast a second ballot, even though they had already voted by mail. In many cases, that second ballot would cancel the first one out when elections officials entered the information into their systems. But in all cases, a voter choosing to do so could be accused of violating California election law.

“The second ballot puts a voter at risk of being accused of trying to vote twice,” Alexander said.

California still has closed primaries for presidential elections. You have to be a registered dem or republican in order to pick presidential candidates. Everything else is based on jungle primaries so top 2 goes to the Nov. elections.

However, NPP voters may vote in a political party's partisan election if the political party, by party rule duly noticed to the Secretary of State, authorizes NPP voters to vote in the next presidential primary election. An NPP voter may request the ballot of one of the political parties, if any, that authorizes NPP voters to vote in the presidential primary election.

American Samoan chief Fa’alagiga Nina Tua’au-Glaude on Monday endorsed Michael Bloomberg for president, a day ahead of the U.S. territory’s Super Tuesday vote.

The chief, who was a delegate for President Obama at the 2008 Democratic National Convention, said he believes in Bloomberg’s "message of change for the people of American Samoa."

"I believe in Mike's message of change for the people of American Samoa — he has the experience and the vision to bring about the change we need — including staving off climate change, which will be devastating to our home. He has my family's vote, and my village,” the chief said, according to a campaign release.

The former New York City mayor dedicated resources to the territory in the South Pacific, including employing seven full-time staff t here. The campaign is also airing television ads, radio ads and targeted digital and print ads in the territory.
