If Trump had any political instincts at all, he'd understand that after dipstick pundits went head over heels about his ability to read a teleprompter for the state of the union, he could muscle out a few sanguine platitudes about American strength and brotherhood in a trying time and surprise everyone again. The standards for him are so, so low and people are desperate for competent leadership. Any appropriately presidential thing he could say will look like JFK doing Ask Not. But he can't do it. He doesn't have the ability to do it once, for one moment. It's mind blowing. He's complaining about Obama at a time like this. It's like he has a spectrum disorder or something.
