I know the barometer for VP has nothing to do with the quality of the presidential campaign you ran but man...Warren was pretty terrible as a candidate and ran a puzzling campaign. She'd certainly fire up portions of the base (non black portions, of course) and maybe she'd be decent on the campaign trail...but I'm not feeling the idea of two old people on the ticket.
Then again I'm not sure there is a "good" VP choice. Abrams isn't qualified to be president, Kamala doesn't seem to add anything, Amy K isn't appealing at all, etc. I like Whitmer a lot, she's definitely the second best governor I've ever voted for (

) but I'm not sure she makes sense either. Running for VP during a pandemic/crisis seems like it could backfire. She's done very well so far but they're literally doing everything possible to tear her down right now, including storming capital buildings with guns. As this gets more partisan and the economy dives, it's likely her numbers will fall. I'm not sure how anyone could balancing running on the ticket while running a state dealing with some of the worst virus numbers in the nation/world.
