More like grounds for a candlelit stroke fest. Time to break out the $100 Tom Ford candle and play Enigma.

Sounds like she'd be willing to help you with the scenario if you were willing to muddy the clear waters of the workplace.

Atra is either neck-deep in pussy he hasn’t had the time to breathe, or he’s on suicide watch.

I hope it’s the former, and if it is, give the deets you coward!

My duuuudes, deadlift cutie asked me to spot her 245lb squats unprompted. Now I know her name is Renée. She said she could do 3 but went for 4. Oh Hideo, love can bloom, even on the battlefield.

So to keep the good vibes going, I sought her out and offered up my fat gripz for her to use next time I'm in, which is Friday, which is her deadlift day . apparently her and her gym friend were also talking about that, and me. 2019 aint even started yet and its gangbusters.

Let's start giving Blue shit since Atra is busy with life...

... you gonna keep posting about girls who said a few words to you or go on some dates breh?

Lmao I knew id catch shit

I was a fat fuck just four months ago so you have to understand where I'm coming from and hey, at least I'm posting shit now that Atra has gone radio silent

And I wouldnt call a woman just four inches from tickling my balls just banter, lets be real

As far as dating, I'm getting off on the ego stroking but for the time being I have no interest in getting it deep with anyone while I'm trying to become a better me. Sounds like a cop out but my last true blue relationship I relapsed on my fitness and spiraled for years. Never again.

lol just giving you a litle shit Blue... keep it coming.. my point wasn't to stop talking about this stuff more wondering if you are going to ask these girls out.

Fuck, guess I'm touchy today ugh

I so fucking want to ask Renée out but I want to be wholeheartedly into it. I guess what I'm doing now is edging towards it. Shes been way more aggressive as far as interacting with me, a bad trait on my part.

Had a friend come to me yesterday because she's divorced and is having a hard time getting someone to be serious about her. One of the things is she's one of those women that's used to skating by on her looks, and never really worked to make herself good at relationships. So she came to me and asked to be brutally honest with her on what she needed to be able to find "love" and why she hadn't found it. I told her she lacked the skills to find love and even if she found it, she lacked the skills to keep it alive. Oh man. It's the truth and she knew it but she just sobbed and sobbed. In a lot of ways she's got a ton of things she's gotta learn. Still sad to see a friend break down in tears like that.

Sorry Mups. I'm keeping the hot ones, I don't know if the rest are up to the Mups standard.

And man, you're not kidding. I think this year it's easier for me to count the friends that are still together vs the friends that are breaking up/getting divorced.

I'm at that age,  where everyone is getting to their 7 year itch apparently.

A gal that I haven't even gone on a date with is getting mad that I'm not texting her enough but she keeps texting me with like 1 word responses and when I try to start a conversation she says like one sentence and then gets mad that I don't make the conversation happen.

Yeah, no. Why even go on a date with someone whose mad at your before the first date, wtf.

I was chatting with a friend the other day who is a therapist and we like to talk about the relationship advice we found works and we were in a way "comparing notes". And he said that he felt that relationships are like buildings you have to build, not mansions you just find. I've certainly heard the "great relationships are 'built' not 'found'" part but honestly I feel like while any 2 people who have the skills and desire could make a relationship work, a truly great relationship is more than just 'two people working' it's the two right people working together. He countered with "OK I could buy that, but how do you find the 'right' person?" I replied with "No idea. That's some secret sauce type shit I honestly have no idea how it works. I just know it does." He absolutely disagreed and stated any two people can have a great relationship if they work together. I can't agree, I think any two could have a working and even good relationship, but lasting romance? fiery passion? keeping that alive and going for years? Yeah, that takes work but there's some magic there that I don't think just any two people can attain. And I'm not talking about this "Oh you have to have similar interests" shit. Nope. Some of the couples with the most incredible relationships I've seen have very little in common outside of their love of each other. Dude told me I should hand in my relationship advice giver badge.  He might be right. But honestly, the more I think about it, the less the working of emotional connection and attraction make sense to me, and the more I get the feeling that it can't really be understood.

I think there's an assumption that you're making that isn't necessarily a requirement.  "Lasting romance" and "fiery passion" are secondary for a lot of people if they even factor in at all.  A lot of people see that as something that occurs in movies, not in real life or is byproduct of young, immature relationships and the drama associated with those.  I know a couple of people that see their relationship almost as a business arrangement.  They get along, function well together, have similar goals and the same basic moral principles and that's enough for them.  I see it a lot in older couples, especially those well off.  The older people in my wife's family also work this way.  I don't get it, but whatevs.

Man, I could really wax poetic about this after a cocktail or two, but no way I can translate my thoughts to the written word

But I feel like you’re ignoring the deep connection of years of active cooperation working to better each other, yourselves, your situation. That kind of consistent, dependable love is quite remarkable imo and could be totallly separate from the passion you’re propping up — it’s much more than bearable

That said we still fuck and oh how we do so maybe that’s not fair to say it’s separate from passion but honestly my wife is probably the only person on this earth who even comes close to really getting me and what drives me, I have had a buffet of pussy in my life and none of it can compare to that

I like the way Cats put it. Stability and common goals can be just as much of a driver and connection. It’s not enough for me personally, but I’m not one to judge how people decide to love. You’ve got to remember that most people don’t envy open relationships of any kind either and assume it means a failed relationship. *ahem*
