Divorce update: The hearing was scheduled for February the 4th and it was snowed out, so it was moved to anywhere from 60 to 90 days. I lost my shit. My STBX wife already has a deposit on an apartment, so I called my lawyer and said he must fix this. I have created terms between me and her that are overwhelmingly fair, and I basically have done my lawyer's job. FIX THIS.

The next hearing was scheduled for March 1st, and I begged my lawyer to either allow us to negotiate beforehand with the hopes that it could be a one and done court session, or at least schedule the next sessions to we can get the hell through this shit.

It looks like the former may happen. I have a draft of our separation terms and will be independently negotiating payouts to settle with her. If she agrees, we very well may be able to get in, be divorced, and get out on March 1st.

Fingers crossed. This has been such an awful emotional experience.
