It never belonged on Netflix. That show should be an HBO show. Netflix is cheap as fuck if they can't keep shows like Sense8, Luke Cage and even Iron Fist running.

Sense8 is a better show than GoT, and I fucking ADORE GoT. Netflix is just cheap. The show has always belonged to a place like HBO, and when Watchmen comes and dies because it looks cheap as fuck on HBO, it'll prove even more my point.

I disagree. Sense8 will be this generation's Dune or Firefly if you will, a cult classic. One of the best sci-fi shows and original concepts out there.

The Matrix is their masterpiece, it's their The Avengers, their Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Sense8 is rightfully their Firefly.

I'd say it's bad, because the acting is so over the top and hammy that it's just distracting, but I think that might be part of the point. And then I'm not sure if that makes it better or worse.

Yeah, it always felt kind of hokey and almost theatrical. It's not a very polished film, but I think that's part of its charm. I wouldn't rate it anywhere near among the greats, but like I said, there is charm in it. To each their own.

Someone who belongs to a party that publices hate filled posters against Muslims for their elections, uploads a game where you "shoot" mosques to keep them small, and generally has been rallying against Muslims for the past ten years, holds a speech where she utters what I quoted a page or two ago.

Now ask yourself, why would she do that? Would she do that in good faith? Did she do it, to have a discussion on Muhmmad and the morals of a different culture thousands of years ago? Or did she simply say it, to rally people against muslims, to tell people "look at them, they worship a pedophile!"

I'm sure you know the answer to those questions, and it should really stop all doubt about how correct this ruling was, or not.

I assume there's lots of viewing it through the American system prism too, if they're banning people lamenting Haddad's candidacy. PT is not a popular and singularly dominant party anymore, especially with the left like it once was, and nor was Dilma ever really a popular person even within the party. Lula's an institution, but he fell afoul of the law (properly by all accounts of Brazilian law from what I can tell), and PT itself was in a place where it had depended too long on an elite handful of politicians and those politicians were no longer relevant to the younger generations who have a new set of heroes outside the former powerful parties (PSDB isn't exactly riding as high as it used to either) and of many political varieties.

Oh wait, maybe their viewing it through an American prism might actually be helpful in this specific case.

I almost want to check to see if anyone has pointed out that there's like 40 fucking parties in their Congress after this election, and Bolsonaro isn't exactly on great terms with many of them, his party only has jumped up to 52/513 seats, less than PT which still has 56/513.

For all the lamentations by our Presidents about Congress, this is what either Bolsonaro or Haddad got to look forward to working with:



And this is a body that Dilma's coalition won in 2014 with 60% of the seats and still threw her out less than two years later after enough of the parties re-aligned against her.

I hate this country. I hate this world. I hate life.

waking up everyday is awful. I feel dirty just for living here. I can't take a good look at people's face in the streets without thinking they may just have evil in their hearts, no empathy for others, no respect at all for the millions that suffer everyday.

I know what my family went through in the past and I'm not sure I'll be strong enough to live through a similar hell. I hope anyone who can make a difference in their countries to protect their loved ones do it, I was weak and coward and didn't do enough here.
