To answer your questions, based on what I know about the group:
- I learned about it from a friend who is a supporter and linked me to an article describing the activist work they were doing to support women's reproductive rights, and it was good stuff and got me to research them.
- They don't worship anything, they are atheistic. They use Satan as a symbol of defiance and rejection towards tyranny (since they see the Biblical God, even if fictional, as an evil tyrant).
- They don't really compare I guess. They are a fringe/minority, atheistic religion.
