Yeah, but see, even using the acronym sjw is problematic in certain circles. When I just started posting on the Bire I got yelled at a lot for "using the term unironically," it was even word filtered for a long while. But now it seems that we've come to a collective understanding that just because you use the word doesn't mean you are against progress or social change/justice. It's just a scornful term for people you perceive as armchair quarterbacks, or whatnot. Not sure where I am going with this.
I just think, if we're willing to flirt with people like Zizek as Wank Dads, who certainly doesn't identify as part of the IDW, or even pals around with the IDW crowd that much, to my knowledge, then Wank Dad is a broader term than IDW-ers. I like the term Free Speech Warriors as the yang to the SJW yin myself. It works in the same way, their fight for Free Speech is a perversion, because they often seek to limit the speech/freedom of others.
