This is the only time in my life I'll be an Eva fan experiencing a piece of Anno-directed Eva media when it comes out. The only time I won't be spoiled before I see the thing. Well, knock on wood...

Pretty good. Not necessarily loving the chorus "oh oh oh" aspect. Or maybe that it's so forefront and meant to be the hook rather than just accenting things. I really like how things go to 10 at around 3:28. Each time you do get to the chorus there is more being added in the instrumental which is something I really like.

There was talk of a second "secret" theme by Utada, similar to how KH3 ended up with both Face My Fears and Don't Think Twice. Not sure if that panned out?

Sakura Nagashi is amaze. However, I like both this and Beautiful World more than it, so we're definitely on opposite ends. :P

For me the oh-oh-oh's are what keep this song popping up in my brain, starting with the 30 second fragment last December and lasting ever since.

Maybe they could adapt the sequel LightNovels that are much different tone wise? They could promote it like the evangelion equivalent of Gundam G or Build Fighters to Gundam (a way different and less serious take) while leaving Anno stuff intact.
