The American response to covid19 gives me further reason to leave America as I watch all other countries strap in and do work. My work has banned employees from trips to Italy, Japan and China for the time being. Also the people who were going to go to GDC on my team are not going anymore.

My brother teaches English in Japan, yesterday I asked him if he was worried but he said everything was semi normal. Then a few hours later they cancelled a monthly meeting and a few hours after that they cancelled school for the remainder of the semester.

Heard that all Japanese schools have shut down and canceled classes through April now.

Over here, starting to see some of the first signs of panic setting in- we went to the supermarket last night and my wife wanted to buy some hand sanitizer.   They were cleaned out.  No masks either.  Checked Amazon and that stuff is being sold by third party sellers for like $100 now.
