Is this suit typical for a defamation/libel case, though? A single snarky comment from an anonymous blogger posting his bullshit in some dark corner of the internet?
Besides, I'm not arguing whether or not she is within her rights to press charges. I understand that "skank" technically falls under the definition of statement of verifiable fact (right?), I just find it risible that he supports that technicality under such frivolous circumstances.
But after rereading the thread, I guess he wasn't really defending her decision to sue, so whatever. I was pissy over not being able to watch the new Dexter episode and I wanted to start shit with someone.
For the record, though, could a judge hypothetically throw out this case if he wanted to?
