Shit is amazing so far.

Watchmen is one of the best superhero comics to exist. Unlike other comics in that time period that are said to change the game like Dark Knight Returns, Watchmen isn't overrated. Watchmen is fairly rated and deserves all accolades.

It's just that...some people like to use a lil' hyperbole in regards to it.

-Catwoman and Batman are still getting sexy
-Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle act all sexy at a party
-Catwoman gets all sexy with Bruce Wayne after the party
-Catwoman gets beat up by thugs but is still kinda sexy

Just read it, Gundam. It's really fun. Reminds me of the start of Morrison's X-men but played for laughs. The class descriptions at the end are straight-up hilarious. Bacchalo's art is wonderfully expressive as usual - probably as good as anything I've seen from him.

Definitely a fun read, although Wolverine's personality was so NOT Wolverine.

This only effects me, but I just want it to be known that I'm peeved that DC released the Flashpoint trade now, but the Flashpoint tie-ins won't be released until March. Now I have to wait 4 months to do my Identity Crisis --> Flashpoint marathon.

If you're a fan of Bronze age comics, check them out. Great detailed articles and The Comics Journal style interviews with artists and writers of stuff which is largely overlooked in comic fandom. It balances a nicely between TCJs taking comics seriously and Wizard Magazine's populist leanings.

You can get them in nicely inexpensive PDF format from the publisher at $3 a pop

You can also download a free copy of all their other magazines, something I have done, but I haven't yet looked into them. I think Eel would be quite interested in Alter Ego, which focuses on Golden and Silver age topics and creators.
