The Spider-Man/Venom crossover storyline "Venom Inc." finished this week with Venom Inc. Omega. This was a pretty short storyline and was just six issues, IIRC (Alpha, two Amazing, two Venom, and Omega IIRC).
Plot: Lee Price, a former Venom host (very briefly in the current on-going Venom series), finds a way to steal Manic's symbiote, calls himself "Maniac," and can use it to mind-control people who he spits "venom goo" on. Those who get controlled also get some Venom-like powers and masks. He winds up controlling a number of villains and Spider-Man. His goal is to brainwash all the mafia heads and their soldiers, who are meeting up with the Black Cat (who has been a crime lord for a while in the Spidey comics). Everyone bands together to stop him. Not really much else to say about it, but it did change up a few things:
-Eddie Brock is officially 100% Venom again. The character has been Venom for months, but this storyline teased the symbiote going back to Flash.
-Flash Thompson is officially now Anti-Venom. Looks exactly like he did previously as "Agent Venom," just white.
-Manic (a female symbiote user, who I barely even remember) no longer has her symbiote, but that's OK because she uses magic and stuff.
-Lee Price has apparently permanently bonded with Manic's symbiote. He turns into this giant Venom monster in Omega.
-Black Cat has lost her entire criminal empire and may go the superhero route again based on the ending. Maybe.
-Spider-Man is...still Spider-Man. Nothing changed with him.
A pretty forgettable storyline overall. Next up it's Venom innnnn spaaaaaaaace with the X-Men Blue kids, who also get symbiote suits.
