The sencha I got has since tasted better, but I'm realizing I just don't like this tea. It tastes more like cherry than green tea. I don't like this at all. I'm convinced that green tea shouldn't be mixed with anything but I was feeling confident I'd enjoy it.

Bringing my water to a pre-boil of around 165-170 has given me better results as has steeping it for around 1 minute and 45 seconsd.

It's nice and strong and sweet, but dammit, it tastes like cherries!

Guess I'll be drinking my Orange Mandarin tea bags while I down this cherry bullshit.

random question: When you were still in school and the professor would give an assignment with a minimum and maximum page limit, were you the type of student to hit the minimum and stop or go all the way?

I had one paper that had a 7 page difference between minimum and maximum. As soon as I hit the minimum my body and mind died and I wrapped it up in two more pages. Now I feel bad that I didn't push it to the limit.

That's normally how it is, but in some of my classes the professor wants you to write a concise and dense paper, so they have a maximum page limit. It's actually annoying when you have you have a lot of content and the professor wants only 2 pages. Hell, I had to cheat and make a paper 11 point font once because I wrote too much.

I've had some classes where the professor would say you had to write exactly 12 pages; no less, no more, or you get points deducted.

and yeah, a 7 page difference. This one was 15 to 22 pages. The oddness of the number is what made me ask the question.
